The factory specializes in the production of marine oil and wastewater separators. Ganghui Ship is a domestically developed type of marine oil-water separator with advanced technology. The new type of marine oil-water separator has been approved by the China Classification Society, and has the CCS certificate from the China Classification Society and the GL type approval from the German Classification Society, as well as the GL EC certificate.
Types, principles, and operating procedures of 15PPM bilge water separator type marine oil-water separator.
The main components of the new marine oil-water separator include a control box, a separator (with filter plates, filter cores, etc. inside), pipelines, supporting pumps, an automatic oil discharge monitoring system (auxiliary equipment such as oil discharge solenoid valves, heaters, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and probes), etc. The inspection of the new marine oil-water separator is based on the MARPOL73/78 Convention and the 2004 Legal Inspection Technical Regulations for Domestic Ships. Any defect in any part of the new marine oil-water separator will affect the separation efficiency of the equipment, so the overall requirement is that the device should be in good condition. 1. Check the control box. The new type of marine oil-water separator control box includes pump control box, automatic oil discharge control box, and oil discharge monitoring system control box, some of which are combined together and some are separate. During the inspection, the main focus is on whether the electrical control boxes of the new marine oil-water separator can supply and control the relevant electrical equipment normally, and whether the relevant indicator lights can be on. If the power indicator light is not on, it may be because the power switch of the oil-water separation equipment on the main or distribution board of the new marine oil-water separator is not closed, or the fuse in the electric control box is broken. 2. Inspect the separator and pipelines, (1) check the separation of the new marine oil-water separator.
Check the simplified version of the new marine oil-water separator and confirm that there is no severe corrosion or rust penetration. ·The nameplate is clearly marked, indicating that the processing capability matches the certificate. ·Check the sampling port on the cylinder, it is unobstructed and can be opened and closed freely. (2) The installation requirements for the new marine oil-water separator are that under no circumstances will the water level inside the new marine oil-water separator drop due to siphon action, and there is no possibility of emptying.
The specific measurement criteria are: If the new marine oil-water separator is installed below the light load waterline, the top of the new marine oil-water separator must be at least 1 meter lower than the light load waterline of the ship, or the outboard discharge outlet of the new marine oil-water separator drainage pipe must be at least 1 meter higher than the top of the new marine oil-water separator; If the new marine oil-water separator is installed above the light load waterline, the drainage pipe must be at least 1 meter higher than the top of the new marine oil-water separator, and a vent pipe and vent valve must be installed at the highest point of the drainage pipe. (3) Check the pipeline to see if there are any bypass pipelines that are directly discharged to the outside of the ship through the new marine oil-water separator. If there is, it must be removed. If the conditions for removal are temporarily not met, it is allowed to temporarily seal it with blind plates. Check if the pipeline is severely corroded and if there is any leakage. (1) Check and confirm that the new marine oil-water separator is equipped with a matching separation pump The type of pump has a significant impact on the performance of new marine oil-water separators. Because the speed of the new marine oil-water separator depends on the diameter of the oil droplets, and the size of the oil droplet diameter is related to the separation effect, oily wastewater should be prevented from bursting as much as possible before entering the new marine oil-water separator. This is obviously closely related to the form and displacement of the liquid supply pump. The supporting separation pump for new marine oil-water separators is generally a reciprocating pump with slow speed, small stroke, large diameter, and the ability to reduce oil-water emulsification. (2) Check the displacement of the pump. According to IMO Resolution A.393 (X), the displacement of the pump must be less than or equal to 1.5 times the rated processing capacity of the new marine oil-water separator. If it exceeds, the shipowner should be requested to replace it. 4. Inspect the oil discharge monitoring system, (1) check the alarm function of the new marine oil-water separator The alarm function of the new marine oil-water separator oil discharge monitoring system can be checked through experiments, such as pressing the test button; When there is no test button but a test hole, open the test hole cover and insert an object such as a brush for testing. When conducting product performance tests during ship inspections (usually not used during ship inspections), a new type of marine oil-water separator can be filled with water in the simplified form, and then pure oil can be pumped in for 5 minutes to see if an audible and visual alarm can be triggered when the oil content exceeds 15ppm. (2) Check the automatic stop discharge function of the new marine oil-water separator.
The new marine oil-water separator oil discharge monitoring system with automatic stop discharge function also needs to check whether the new marine oil-water separator can stop the supporting pump of the separator when it exceeds 15ppm, or whether it can activate the pneumatic, electromagnetic, pneumatic/electromagnetic combination three-way valve on the drainage pipeline of the new marine oil-water separator. If not, it indicates a malfunction of the new marine oil-water separator oil discharge monitoring system itself or a malfunction of the three-way valve.
