Corning Inc. specializes in special glass and ceramic materials. Based on over 160 years of knowledge in materials science and process technology, Corning has created and produced numerous key technologies used in high-tech consumer electronics, mobile emission control, communication, and life science products. Over the past 30 years, China has provided Corning with many talents whose technical expertise has enabled them to introduce Corning's innovative technologies into the Chinese market. This partnership has achieved results. Today, Corning's investment in Greater China has exceeded $3 billion and has over 5000 employees. Corning Reactor Technology Division has a record of entering the market with breakthrough innovation. It is precisely because of our profound understanding of material technology and * technical systems that we have the ability to respond to current and future market demands. We will continue to innovate and create the future.
Corning's High Throughput Microchannel Reactor (Advanced Flow) ™ The Reactor AFR technology is a new technology innovated by our scientists. Corning's high-throughput microchannel continuous flow reactor is made of special glass and special ceramic materials, which have corrosion resistance, high temperature (230 ° C) and high pressure (18 kg pressure) resistance, and are suitable for various chemical reactions. The overall design of its multi-layer structure makes its heat transfer efficiency and mass transfer performance of fluid mixing much higher than traditional stirred tank reactors. By strengthening the chemical synthesis process, Corning's innovation has brought significant process performance improvements to the chemical industry, providing cost-effective continuous flow synthesis process solutions for various chemical reactions.
Corning Advanced Flow ™ Reactor technology has improved the efficiency of the reaction process, greatly enhancing the scalability of the synthesis process and the quality of the chemical process, while reducing (1) the environmental impact of the chemical process; (2) The instability of chemical processes; (3) Production cost. Corning's reactor technology can customize reactors according to customers' chemical reaction needs, while current kettle reactor technology requires chemical reactions to be adapted to existing kettle reaction equipment in many situations. Corning's high-throughput microchannel continuous flow reactor can be integrated into existing chemical production facilities and can meet explosion-proof (ATEX) and GMP standards according to design requirements. Corning reactors allow customers to easily connect them to other industrial systems by using standard connectors.
