Small constant temperature and humidity chamberInstallation guide for wet ball gauze:

Wet bulb gauze plays an important role in humidity sensing in the constant temperature and humidity test chamber during wet heat testing. Therefore, the correct placement and maintenance of wet ball gauze must follow certain specifications and steps:
1. Take out the wet ball gauze from the packaging box and cut about 10cm;
2. Soak the lower end of the wet ball gauze in a sink (making it easier to sense humidity), hang it to dry or put it on a humidity sensor.

Maintenance and inspection of wet bulb gauze in constant temperature and humidity test chamber: The upper end of the wet bulb gauze must be hung on the wet bulb sensor, and the lower end should be placed in the wet bulb gauze sink, so that it can easily absorb the moisture in the sink and become wet. If the wet ball gauze is installed elsewhere, it will prevent the humidity sensor from sensing humidity, resulting in the illusion that humidity cannot be reduced or humidity cannot be controlled at all. When conducting a humidity test, it is necessary to check whether the wet bulb gauze is properly hung. If it is already hung, please check whether the gauze is moist. If it is dried or has poor water absorption effect, please replace the wet bulb gauze in a timely manner.

What is the reason for the sudden display of humidity in a small constant temperature and humidity chamber during the testing process?

Step 1: Check if the wet bulb gauze is hanging on the humidity sensor. The sensor near the sink is a humidity sensor, and the gauze should be hung on the humidity sensor and wrapped around the temperature sensing part of the sensor. A small number of customers often hang the gauze in the wrong position on top of the temperature sensor, causing machine malfunctions. Therefore, please carefully identify that the one above is the temperature probe and the one below near the sink is the humidity probe.

Step 2: If the hanging method is correct and the humidity still displays, please check if the wet bulb gauze has yellowed or if there are too many minerals accumulated on the gauze after prolonged use, which leads to a decrease in the water absorption performance of the wet bulb gauze, making it unable to absorb water, resulting in inaccurate humidity detection and creating the illusion of high humidity; If not, please replace the wet bulb gauze. If not, check that there is no water or the water level in the wet bulb sink is too low, and the gauze cannot absorb water. Focus on checking the following areas:

a、 Observe if there is water in the water level box next to the sink. If not, it may be due to damage to the float.

b、 The electromagnetic pump is damaged. Measure its resistance using the voltage range of a multimeter. If it is open circuit, it is damaged.

c、 The gap water replenishment timer is damaged and cannot replenish water normally.

Step 3: Controller setting issue. A small number of customers have a misconception about the use of constant temperature and humidity test chambers, often setting humidity for low temperatures and setting humidity for high temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius. This situation can also cause controller misalignment and instability. Low temperature machines cannot control humidity and are prone to freezing; The high temperature evaporation is too fast, and it is also very difficult for the machine to set the humidity. Therefore, please read the manual carefully, operate the machine in a standardized manner, and extend the service life of the equipment.

How to do a good job in daily maintenance of a small constant temperature and humidity box?

1. Cleaning and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the constant temperature and humidity chamber.

① The constant temperature and humidity test chamber should be cleaned of internal impurities before operation.

② The distribution room should be cleaned at least once a year, and a vacuum cleaner can be used to remove the indoor dust during cleaning.

③ The exterior of the box should also be cleaned at least once a year, by wiping it with soapy water before cleaning.

2. Inspection and maintenance of humidifiers in constant temperature and humidity chambers. The water storage in the humidifier should be replaced once a month to ensure clean water quality, and the humidification water tray should be cleaned once a month to ensure smooth water flow.

3. Clean the dust from the condenser of the constant temperature and humidity box. Regular monthly maintenance should be carried out to clean the condenser. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust attached to the condenser cooling mesh or use high-pressure air to spray the dust.

4. When the surface of the test cloth is not clean or hardened, or after temperature control is completed, the test cloth must be replaced before continuing to perform temperature and humidity control. The test cloth should be replaced about every three months. When replacing, the temperature measuring body should be wiped with a clean cloth. When replacing the new test cloth, it should be cleaned first.

5. Check the wet bulb water level in the constant temperature and humidity chamber and adjust the water level in the water tank not to be too high, causing water to overflow from the water tank or too low, resulting in abnormal water absorption of the wet bulb test cloth and affecting the accuracy of the wet bulb. The water level should be kept at about six tenths full. The adjustment of the water level in the water tank can adjust the height of the water tank.

Small constant temperature and humidity chamberWhat protective measures should be taken to prepare for discontinuation?

(1) When the constant temperature and humidity test chamber is not in use, the items inside the chamber should be removed, the power plug should be unplugged, and the inside and outside of the test chamber should be cleaned thoroughly.

(2) Place a piece of paper between the door seal and the box to prevent the door seal from sticking to the box; If it is not needed for a long time, you can also apply some * on the door seal.

(3) After discontinuation, the constant temperature and humidity test chamber should also be placed in a dry and ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight. After moving the position, the test chamber should be kept stable.

(4) Indoor air has a certain degree of humidity, so do not cover the test chamber with plastic bags. Moisture is difficult to dissipate when it enters, which can cause corrosion of metal parts and damage to the performance of electrical components.

(5) The freezing temperature of the Freon used for refrigeration in the constant temperature and humidity test chamber is very low, so there is no need to worry about it freezing and the test chamber should be placed in a higher temperature place.

(6) The machine is powered on once a month, and the compressor runs normally for half an hour to an hour before shutting it down.
