Yudian Modbus Communication Optimization Converter

In the industrial field, temperature control and detection are completed by temperature instruments or temperature modules, and the touch screen of the upper computer and PLC usually obtain relevant information through communication. The RS485 serial communication method, due to its simple wiring, can support a master-slave network architecture with multiple channels (usually 32 channels) under one bus, and is widely used.

Nowadays, there are many occasions where temperature data from hundreds or even hundreds of channels need to be centralized in the upper computer, which cannot be met by general instrument solutions. Because firstly, the station number is difficult to expand, and secondly, the communication speed will be greatly reduced. To this end, our company has launched the Modbus relay acceleration protocol converter for the widely used Yudian series temperature instruments.

This protocol converter has acceleration function, which can concentrate the temperature of up to 32 channels into one converter and merge them into one slave station (occupying only one station number). The upper computer can access the converter to read the PV values of 32 channels at once, taking only 0.9 seconds, greatly improving communication efficiency.

The current plan allows 32 protocol converters to be attached to one RS485 bus, so one bus can accommodate up to 1024 channels of temperature instruments. This can solve the application requirements of most multi-channel scenarios.
