new-typeThe X-LAS MkII large aperture scintillation instrument can continuously measure sensible heat flux along a 1km~12km path. The measurement process is direct and simple, and can quickly obtain measurement results. Due to the minimal power support required by the device, in most cases, a simple solar rechargeable battery is sufficient.

The X-LAS MkII receiver has an internal digital processing device that can automatically calculate all relevant parameters, such as Cn2 and sensible heat flux. Through the real-time data displayed on the screen, you can understand the test status in a few seconds. The built-in data logger stores measurement data and results obtained over several months.

Through the digital interface, you can remotely display and control the instrument's operational settings in real-time. By simulating output, you can also virtually connect the instrument to any data acquisition system. This facilitates integration with new or existing measurement networks.

If you carry instruments with you for on-site deployment, it will consume a lot of manpower, not to mention installing various laptops, interface cables, and software.The X-LAS MkII can be installed with a built-in display screen and keyboard, without the need for any additional equipment, and comes with an outer carbon fiber shell for easier transportation. Carbon fiber also ensures the durability and temperature stability of various optical device casings, ensuring long-term accuracy of data.

The scintillation meter itself is sensitive to changes in atmospheric refractive indexCn2 is used for measurement, but if equipped with a weather sensor kit, the sensible heat flux can be calculated. This kit consists of wind speed, temperature, and pressure sensors, as well as various matching plugs, and is directly installed inside the X-LAS MkII receiver.

EVATION ® The software suite is a standard deliverable used to view real-time data displayed in digital and graphical form, as well as to perform post-processing on superior data.
