There are various forms of pressure gauge joints, including welded pipe joints, expansion pipe joints, three-way intermediate joints, bent intermediate joints, straight intermediate joints, straight cone pipe joints, pressure gauge straight joints, sleeve type pipe joints, and so on.
In internal engineering, metric threads such as M20 * 1.5 are generally used for pressure gauges, while M14 * 1.5 or M10 * 1 threads are used for some small gauge diameters. In addition, some projects may use imperial threads, such as G1/2, and G1/4 or G1/8 for small diameters. Both of the above are straight threads and end seals. Different gaskets should be selected according to different working conditions during installation. In addition, NPT threads are commonly used in some joint ventures or external projects, with 1/2'NPT being the most commonly used, 1/4'NPT for small diameters, and rarely 1/8'NPT, which is an American standard thread with a tapered buckle. This thread is sealed with a screw thread and does not require a gasket. The frequent winding of PTFE tape inside is due to the poor processing degree of the NPT buckle inside.
