structural principle
The WR series of ordinary and explosion-proof armored thermal resistors/thermocouples have the advantages of being slender, easy to bend, fast in thermal response time, vibration resistance, temperature resistance, pressure resistance, and durability. It can be used for direct measurement or as an inner core component for prefabricated thermocouples and thermal resistors, replacing traditional prefabricated ones. Especially suitable for installation in narrow, curved pipelines that require quick response, and special temperature measurement situations. Armored platinum resistance thermometers can be used to measure temperatures within the range of -200 to+500 ℃. The product is suitable for use in places with explosive gases within the temperature range of dIIBT4 and dIICT5. Compliant with IEC60079 standard and GB3836 standard.
Thermistor measures temperature by utilizing the characteristic that the resistance of a substance changes with temperature. The heated part (temperature sensing element) of a thermal resistor is uniformly wound around a skeleton made of insulating material with thin metal wires. When there is a temperature gradient in the measured medium, the measured temperature is the average temperature in the medium within the range of the temperature sensing element.
The working principle of a thermocouple is to weld two conductors or semiconductors with different compositions at both ends to form a closed circuit. Due to the different number of electrons carried by two different metals, when there is a temperature difference between the hot and cold ends of two conductors, a discharge phenomenon from high potential to low potential occurs, resulting in the formation of current in the circuit. The larger the temperature difference, the greater the current. This phenomenon is called thermoelectric effect, also known as Seebeck effect. Thermocouples work by utilizing this effect. The direct temperature measurement end is called the measurement node (or hot end), and the wiring end is called the reference node (or cold end).
