Cooling tower circulating water pump
The function of the cooling tower circulating water pump is to exchange heat between the cooling water carrying waste heat and the air inside the tower, so that the waste heat is transferred to the air and dispersed into the atmosphere. The commonly used process flow in industrial circulating cooling water systems is: water treatment station circulating water supply pump outlet → process equipment → water treatment device → cooling tower → cold water tank → cooling tower circulating water pump of water treatment station suction, cooling tower spray pump, closed cooling tower circulating pump WLT cooling tower circulating pumpCooling tower circulating pump, cooling tower spray pump, circulating water pump, cooling tower dedicated pump, cooling tower makeup pump, vertical cooling tower circulating pump.
There are two ways to feed water into the cooling tower: one is to directly use the return water pressure of the process equipment to feed the cooling tower, which is commonly used in clean circulating water systems for environmental protection; the other is to install an independent cooling tower circulating water pump externally to pressurize the circulating water and feed it into the cooling tower, which is commonly used in turbid circulating water systems.
Cooling towers are mainly used in air conditioning cooling systems, refrigeration series, injection molding, leather making, foaming, power generation, steam turbines, aluminum profile processing, air compressors, industrial water cooling, and other fields. The most commonly used industries are air conditioning cooling, refrigeration, and plastic chemical industry. The specific division is as follows:

Crossflow Tower
1. Water is in the packing inside the tower, with water flowing from top to bottom and air flowing horizontally from outside the tower into the tower. The two directions are perpendicular and orthogonal to each other in a cooling tower. Commonly used in residential areas with strict noise requirements, it is a commonly used cooling cycle tower in the air conditioning industry. Advantages: Energy saving, low water pressure, low wind resistance, also equipped with low-speed motor, no drip noise and wind noise, easy maintenance of packing and water distribution system.
2. Multiple foundations can be constructed and placed according to the shape of the building, and single or multiple cooling towers can be started according to the required water temperature.
3. It should be noted that when the frame needs 40% more heat exchange, there should be a large volume of filler, which is prone to aging, clogging of water distribution holes, poor anti icing, and high moisture reflux. The advantage of a cross flow tower is precisely the disadvantage of a counter flow tower.
Unfilled cooling tower
The adopted spray nozzle is installed at the air inlet at the bottom and upper part of the cooling tower, and there are two ways of spray spin motor free air supply and tower top air exhaust. When hot water is passed through the internal swirl plate of the nozzle, it generates an internal swirl flow that forms a fine mist and is sprayed out, resulting in the presence of mist and two cooling effects: upward spray and downward flow. Uniform atomization without hollow phenomenon, stable cooling effect, low power consumption, 0.01% float rate, no need for fillers, low cost and long service life. Scope of use: Metallurgical, food, chemical, high turbidity, high temperature, anti-corrosion cooling tower.
Closed cooling tower
1. Closed cooling tower is a variation and development of traditional cooling tower. It is actually a combination of an evaporative cooling tower, a cooler, and a wet cooling tower. It is a horizontal evaporative cooling tower, where the process fluid flows through the pipes and the air flows outside the pipes, without contact between the two. The water in the bottom reservoir of the tower is pumped by a circulating pump and evenly sprayed outside the pipe. It is a closed cooling tower that does not come into contact with process fluid hot water or refrigerant and external air, and enhances heat and mass transfer by spraying water.
2. Closed cooling towers are suitable for various cooling systems that require high circulating water quality, and have application prospects in power, chemical, steel, food, and many industrial sectors. On the other hand, compared with air-cooled heat exchangers, evaporative cooling towers utilize the latent heat of evaporation of water under the tubes to enhance heat and mass transfer on the air side, which also has significant advantages.
A closed cooling tower (also known as an evaporative air cooler) places a tube heat exchanger inside the tower, which cools down through heat exchange between circulating air, spray water, and circulating water. Due to its closed cycle, it can prevent water pollution, effectively protect the efficient operation of the main equipment, and improve its service life. When the outside temperature is low, the sprinkler system can be turned off to save water. Driven by the implementation of national energy conservation and emission reduction policies and the increasing scarcity of water resources, enclosed cooling towers have been widely used in industries such as steel metallurgy, power electronics, mechanical processing, and air conditioning systems. The winter temperature in northern regions is usually below zero degrees, and the anti freezing problem of closed cooling towers is becoming increasingly prominent. If not solved well, it may freeze and damage the heat exchange tubes or other components of the cooling tower. According to different process characteristics, some closed cooling towers operate all day in winter, some operate during certain time periods, and some are almost unused. But we all need to consider the issue of antifreeze.
