Overview

The online automatic monitoring instrument for total nitrogen water quality adopts the alkaline potassium persulfate method, using potassium persulfate as an oxidant and heating it to 125 ℃ under strong alkaline conditions to convert nitrogen-containing compounds in the water sample into nitrate. The absorbance A220 and A275 are tested using ultraviolet spectrophotometry at wavelengths of 220nm and 275nm, respectively, with corrected absorbance A=A220-2A275. The total nitrogen content is proportional to the corrected absorbance A, thus monitoring the indicator of total nitrogen in water quality. The instrument complies with the national standards of the People's Republic of China, and operates stably, reliably, structurally, and is easy to maintain.
