The laser raindrop spectrometer can monitor and distinguish between drizzle, heavy rain, hail, snowflakes, snowballs, and various precipitation between snowflakes and hail falling. It can calculate the intensity, total amount, and visibility of various types of rainfall, conduct necessary analysis, draw raindrop spectra, and calibrate meteorological radar data.
Instrument principle:
Applying laser principle (785 nm laser) to measure high-speed moving objects. Can measure the total amount, size, intensity, and speed of moving objects. Its superior performance is particularly demonstrated in the measurement of small objects, with a minimum diameter of 0.16 mm for the measured object.

1)Ensure correct, stable, and waterproof wiring when installing power and communication cables;
2)The waterproof ring of the main box is installed correctly to ensure waterproofing;
3)It is best to install it on grass (or without dark stones, asphalt, etc.), otherwise it will generate upward airflow and form stripes under strong sunlight radiation, which will affect the measurement;
