TG1000/2000 provides a high-quality direct digital synthesis (DDS) function generator at a very low price. DDS uses phase accumulator, lookup table, and DAC to generate waveforms. The stability of the generated waveform is related to the stability of the crystal master clock. Through proper engineering, DDS generators can not only provide exceptionally high stability, but also offer frequency agility with high spectral purity and low phase noise. TG2000 includes RS-232 and USB interfaces for remote control of all instrument functions and remote storage of instrument settings.
