The shore joint produced by our factory is made of copper material in accordance with the requirements of the 1981 Amendment to the 1974 Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea. The working pressure of the shore joint is 0.1 MPa. One end is a flat flange, and the other end is an attachment. At the same time, the shore connection joint can also be used as an interface for coordinating with fire hydrants and fire hoses on board. Our factory's shore connection joint interface specifications can be divided into Dg50 and Dg65, which can be used on various types of ships. When a ship catches fire while berthed at the dock, connecting the fire hose on the shore to the shore connection can provide high-pressure fire water to assist in firefighting. There are usually two types of shore connection materials: copper and aluminum.

The function of shore connection joint
One end of it is a flat flange, which is a uniform standard used on this device; The other end of the shore connection is an interface that is attached to the ship's fire hydrant and fire hose, and the shore connection interface is connected to the ship's own fire hydrant and hose interface. All vessels must be equipped with at least one shore connection. When the fire pump on board fails, the shore connection is used to introduce the fire-fighting water from the shore or other facilities into the ship's fire-fighting piping system to continue extinguishing the fire.
Please refer to the "FSS Fire Equipment Rules" for the parameters and technical specifications of the shore connection joint as follows:
Chapter 2- Shore Connection
This chapter specifies the specifications for shore connections required by Chapter II-2 of the Convention
Specification for 2-way shore joint engineering
2.1 Standard dimensions of shore connection joints
The standard dimensions of the shore connection flange should meet the requirements in the following table:
Table 2.1- Standard Dimensions for Shore Connections
The outer diameter is 178 mm, the inner diameter is 64 mm, the bolt ring diameter is 132 mm, and there are 4 holes with a flange slot diameter of 19 mm, evenly distributed on the bolt rings of the above diameter. The flange thickness from the slot to the outer edge of the flange is at least 14.5 mm. There are 4 pairs of bolts and nuts, each with a diameter of 16 mm and a length of 50 mm

2.2 Shore Connection Materials and Accessories
The shore connection joint should be made of steel or other equivalent materials and designed to withstand a working pressure of 1.0N/mm2. The shore joint should be equipped with gaskets of any material suitable for withstanding a working pressure of 1.0N/mm2. The shore joint, along with 4 nuts and 8 washers with a diameter of 16mm and a length of 50mm, should be stored on board the ship.
