SZR-3Asphalt penetration tester[Overview]
This instrument is developed using a capacitance digital dial gauge combined with a numerical control circuit to measure the penetration of asphalt. It meets the requirements of GB4509-84 "Petroleum Asphalt Penetration Measurement Method" and T0604-2000 "Asphalt Penetration Test", and is simple, convenient, and does not require preheating. It provides a high-precision instrument for the fields of highways, municipal engineering, construction, petroleum, etc. in China.
SZR-3 digital asphalt penetration tester[Purpose]
This instrument is mainly used for penetration testing of viscous road petroleum asphalt, liquid petroleum, asphalt and residual asphalt materials after distillation or emulsification tests.
SZR-3 digital asphalt penetration testerTechnical indicators
Zui small division: 0.01mm
Measurement range: 0-50mm
Standard needle and needle label combined weight: 100 ± 0.05g
Two LED displays
Power supply: 220V/50HZ
Sample dish: flat bottomed cylindrical, made of metal, with dimensions of Ø 55 × 35mm
Flat bottomed insulated dish: made of glass, with a capacity greater than 15L and a depth greater than 60mm, attached with a sample dish using a square grid
Instrument working platform, equipped with a leveling mechanism for adjustment
【 Usage 】
⑴ Heat and melt the pre dehydrated sample, with a heating temperature not exceeding 90 ℃ above the estimated softening point of the sample and a time not exceeding 30 minutes. After thorough stirring and sieving, inject it into the sample dish.
Its depth should be at least 10mm greater than the expected penetration value, and it should be cooled at room temperature of 15-39 ℃ for 1 hour. During cooling, care should be taken not to let dust fall in.
⑵ Immerse the sample dish into a water tank filled with clean water and keep it warm for 1-1.5 hours. The water temperature should be maintained at 25 ± 0.5 ℃, and the water surface should be at least 25mm above the test surface.
⑶ Adjust the needle penetration meter to be level (adjust the weight of the additional weight if necessary), press the release button with your hand, lift the standard needle rod, and make the top surface of the needle rod contact the contact head of the dial gauge.
After holding the sample dish for 1-1.5 hours, take it out and place it in a flat bottomed insulated dish with a water temperature strictly controlled at 25 ℃. The height of the water layer above the surface of the sample should not be less than 10mm. Place the insulated dish on the circular worktable of the needle penetration tester, adjust the worktable so that the surface of the sample is in perfect contact with the needle tip (if the adjustment worktable is not enough, adjust the nut to match it), and align the pointer of the dial gauge to zero.
⑸ Set the time switch to the desired time (5s or 60s) position for the sample, press the start button, and the electromagnet will engage to allow the standard needle to freely penetrate into the sample until the red light is on (at this point, it indicates that the standard needle has been inserted into the sample for 5s or 60s, and the electromagnet will automatically release the magnetic spring to tighten the needle rod and prevent it from falling). Press the dial gauge contact with the top surface of the outer rod of the standard needle by hand, and the number pointed by the dial gauge pointer at this time is the penetration degree of the sample.
The same sample shall be tested at least three times, and the distance between each penetration point and the edge of the sample container shall not be less than 10mm. The average of each test result shall be the test result of this sample.
Before each experiment, the water temperature inside the insulated dish should be checked and adjusted. After the experiment, the standard needle should be removed and wiped clean with cotton or cloth soaked in solvent (gasoline), and then wiped dry with cotton or cloth.
The difference between the maximum and minimum values of three parallel test results shall not exceed the following regulations:
Needle penetration (0.1mm) allowable difference (0.1mm)
0-49 2
50-149 4
150-249 12
250-500 20
When the test value does not meet this requirement, it should be retested.
