The second-hand gene sequencer ABI3100 is a fully automated multi lane operation platform that can simultaneously analyze 16 samples, sufficient to meet the needs of medium to high sample volume laboratories. The ABI3100 genetic analyzer is easy to operate, only requiring the installation of capillaries and syringes, and placing the sample plate containing pre treated samples on the automatic sampler to start running. Two 96 well or 384 well plates can be placed on the automatic sampler at once. Once the sample plate is placed, the sample is automatically drawn into the capillary tube, swims under the action of an electric field, and analyzed according to the parameters set by the user. It can continuously analyze up to 768 samples. The measurement of 16 samples in each round is automatically completed until all samples in the sample tray are measured. ABI Prism? The 3100 genetic analyzer uses a single beam of argon ion light to irradiate 16 parallel capillaries, and the inner and outer diameters and slopes of the capillaries are optimized to reduce signal loss caused by refraction. The fluorescence emitted from the capillary tube is separated by a grating and received by a CCD camera to form low noise full spectrum data.
