Process principle and theory:
Air flotation is a solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation process mainly used to separate and remove small suspended solids, colloids, oils or fats that are difficult to settle in water and have a density close to or smaller than water. During the air flotation process, a large number of fine and uniform bubbles (5-80 μ m) are formed, resulting in a three-phase mixture of bubbles, water, and flocs (oil). The bubbles serve as carriers and are fully mixed, contacted, and adhered with suspended floc particles in water, forming trapped flocs that float to the surface of the liquid. The mechanical scraper is used to remove the floating slag, achieving the goal of separating impurities and purifying water quality. The theoretical basis of the dissolved air process - Henry's law - is that in a dissolved air flotation system, air dissolves in water under high pressure and approaches saturation, and is released under reduced pressure to near atmospheric pressure. The dissolved supersaturated air precipitates from the water in the form of small bubbles for flotation.
Application areas:
The goal is to separate suspended solids, colloids, oils or fats, as well as algae and other substances in water.
Separate or recycle oil or grease from wastewater: petroleum extraction and refining, biodiesel, mechanical processing, food processing, and catering, etc.
Pre treatment of high concentration organic wastewater: wastewater from papermaking, printing and dyeing, textile, leather, pharmaceuticals, fermentation, and other industries.
Biochemical effluent solid-liquid separation (advanced treatment): anaerobic effluent solid-liquid separation, aerobic (activated sludge process, contact oxidation, filter) biochemical effluent solid-liquid separation, secondary sedimentation tank effluent advanced treatment, etc.
Pre treatment of breeding and slaughter wastewater: wastewater from breeding (cattle, pigs, chickens) farms and slaughterhouses.
Physical and chemical treatment of manufacturing wastewater: electroplating, spraying, etc.
Deep purification of water: river water treatment, landscape water, and deep reuse of water. The goal is to separate suspended solids, colloids, oils or fats, as well as algae and other substances in water.
