Power Plant Megger Resistance Meter MIT525
The MIT525 series provides 8-terminal/6-winding resistance measurement function. It can detect all 6 windings without the need for repeated disconnection and connection, saving time.
The fast and reliable measurement provided by winding synchronous magnetization technology can be used for large triangular structure transformers at low voltage ends.
The MIT525 series wires can be used interchangeably with the MIT525 series three-phase ratio measuring instrument, reducing additional connection time for ratio measurement.

Megger resistance tester is a tool for electrical safety inspection and completion acceptance of grounding engineering. Including grounding resistance tester, insulation resistance tester, DC resistance tester, surface resistance tester, and loop resistance tester. The circuit resistance tester (transformer circuit resistance tester) is suitable for testing the contact resistance value of the main contacts of high and low voltage switches, as well as the DC resistance value of high and low voltage cable lines. The intelligent circuit resistance tester adopts 100A constant current output. The maximum output voltage of 10V (2-3 times that of conventional instruments) can be achieved through the use of thin test lines, greatly reducing the labor intensity of on-site testing personnel. The testing process is entirely controlled by a single chip and automatically implemented, with high accuracy, good repeatability, single button operation, simple and easy to implement, and LCD display of test data. Suitable for different work environments. The grounding resistance tester is a commonly used instrument for testing and measuring grounding resistance. In recent years, due to the rapid development of computer technology, the grounding resistance tester has also incorporated a large amount of microprocessor technology. Its measurement function, content, and accuracy cannot be compared to general instruments.
The DC resistance tester is a new generation of transformer DC resistance testing instrument, which can automatically select the test current according to different models of power transformers and display the test results at the fastest speed possible. The DC resistance tester has functions such as storage, printing, and discharge indication. It is equipped with a built-in power-off memory that can save measurement data. The use of a LCD display makes the instrument have a good human-machine interface and is a device used in DC resistance testing work.
Test results with digital/analog dual display
·Simulate the display pointer to show the charging and discharging process of the tested sample
Basic voltage display function
·The instrument is equipped with a built-in voltmeter, which automatically turns on the voltage display function when the wire is connected to any external source greater than 25VAC or DC
Basic Test Automatic Protection
·Equipped with external voltage display warning and voltage protection, the instrument will automatically interrupt the test for protection when it comes into contact with an external voltage source during the measurement process
·Any external voltage greater than 25V will display a warning message on the instrument panel. If it is greater than 25V, the instrument will temporarily stop insulation or conduction testing to protect the user's safety
Insulation resistance test
·Insulation resistance test reaches 1000M Ω (megaohms)
·After each test, the instrument will automatically discharge the tested sample safely
·Before selecting the 1000V voltage range for testing, the instrument will display a high voltage warning to alert the user
Conductivity test
·Conductivity test: The lowest resistance at 200mA is 0.01 ohms (Ω)
·The conductivity test of this series of products meets the standard (200mA). After adjusting the rotary switch to the conductivity test, the instrument will automatically perform the corresponding test without the need to press the test button again. The resolution is 0.01 ohms (Ω)
·The zero adjustment range of the test line is 0~99.9 ohms, and the instrument can automatically zero.
buzzer
·The instrument is equipped with a buzzer, which can quickly determine the conductivity status of the circuit during conductivity testing
Instrument power supply
·6X1.5VAA alkaline dry battery or rechargeable battery
·Working environment temperature: -10 ℃ to+55 ℃
Usage of Megger Resistance Tester:
The grounding resistance tester refers to the resistance of the buried grounding body and soil current, usually measured using a type of grounding resistance measuring instrument (or grounding resistance shaker). The shape of the type measuring instrument is similar to that of a regular insulation shaker, so it is commonly referred to as a grounding resistance shaker. The external structure of the shaking table may vary slightly depending on the model, but the usage method is basically the same. The grounding resistance measuring instrument comes with two grounding detection rods and three wires. The usage method and measurement steps are as follows:
(a) Grounding resistance tester (b) connecting wire (c) measuring grounding rod
1. Disconnect the connection point between the grounding main line and the grounding body, or disconnect the connection points of all grounding branches on the grounding main line.
2. Insert two grounding rods into the ground 400mm deep, one 40m away from the grounding body and the other 20m away from the grounding body.
3. Place the shaking table on a flat surface near the grounding body, and then connect the wires.
(1) Connect the terminal post E on the meter and the grounding body E 'of the grounding device with a connecting wire.
(2) Connect the terminal post C on the meter to the grounding rod C 'located 40m away from the grounding body using a connecting wire.
(3) Connect the terminal post P on the meter to the grounding rod P 'located 20m away from the grounding body using a connecting wire.
4. Adjust the coarse adjustment knob (with three adjustable ranges) according to the grounding resistance requirements of the tested grounding body.
5. Shake the shaker evenly at a speed of approximately 120 revolutions per minute. When the pointer deviates, adjust the fine adjustment dial immediately until the pointer is centered. The ground resistance of the tested grounding body is obtained by multiplying the reading obtained by adjusting the dial with the coarse adjustment multiple. For example, if the fine adjustment reading is 0.6 and the coarse adjustment resistor positioning multiple is 10, then the measured grounding resistance is 6 Ω.
6. To ensure the reliability of the measured grounding resistance value, the orientation should be changed and retested. Take the average of several measurements as the grounding resistance of the grounding body.
