There are two methods for ozone aging testing: static strain testing and dynamic strain testing. It consists of three main parts: control system, ozone generation system, sample aging chamber, and ozone measurement. Ozone generator system: mainly includes components such as ozone generator, air purification device, heat exchanger, and airflow control system. The ozone generator uses high-voltage silent discharge tubes, which can obtain high concentrations of ozone. The sample aging chamber is enclosed and unlit, with a window on the door to observe the surface of the sample. The test chamber shell is made of cold-rolled steel plate electrostatically sprayed, with a beautiful and elegant appearance; The inner walls of the chamber, conduits, sample fixtures, and structural materials are made of stainless steel that is not easily decomposed by ozone or corrosion-resistant inert materials. In addition, the equipment is equipped with a timing device and an intelligent digital display controller for measuring and regulating ozone concentration. It can directly set the ozone concentration value and implement PID self-adjusting control, with high control accuracy and simple and convenient operation.

Requirements for ozone sample holder:

1. Composed of several major components including the casing, electronic components, and ozone generator

2. Fix the two ends of the sample with a fixture under the required elongation, and when in contact with ozone air, the length direction of the sample should be basically parallel to the direction of the airflow

3. The fixture should be made of materials that are not easily decomposed by ozone, such as aluminum.

4. Rotate the sample at a speed between (20 ^ -25) mm/s, and move each sample continuously along the same path in a plane perpendicular to the dry airflow

5. The time for the same sample to rotate once is (8 ^ -12) minutes. The scanning area of the sample (shaded area in Figure 2) is less than 40% of the effective area of the test chamber

6. The preparation of the sample shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9865.1. The sample should be cut from the newly molded test piece, and if necessary, it can be cut from the finished product. Sample shortage

7. Use 3 fewer samples for each experimental condition.

8. The width of the long standard specimen shall not be less than 10mm, and the thickness shall be 2.0mm ± 0.2mm. The length of the specimen between the two ends of the fixture before stretching shall not be less than 40mm
