The electric contact pressure gauge consists of a measuring system, an indicating system, a magnetic assisted electric contact device, a housing, an adjusting device, and a junction box (plug socket).

The working principle of an electric contact pressure gauge is based on the spring tube in the measurement system, which, under the pressure of the measured medium, causes corresponding elastic deformation and displacement at the end of the spring tube. With the help of a pull rod and the transmission of a gear transmission mechanism, the measured value is gradually indicated on the dial by the indicator on the fixed gear (along with the contact). At the same time, when it comes into contact with the contact point (upper or lower limit) on the set pointer (dynamic breaking or dynamic closing), it causes the circuit in the control system to be disconnected or connected, in order to achieve automatic control and send alarm signals.

Principles of Electrical Appliances

Taking the control of the compressor motor as an example: when the pressure of the gas storage tank reaches the lower limit, it will automatically start, and when it reaches the upper limit, it will automatically stop.

The control process is as follows: when the pressure reaches (or when the power is turned on) *, the movable contact (common terminal of the power supply) of the electric contact pressure gauge is connected to the lower limit contact, relay J1 is activated and self-locking, its normally open contact is closed to drive J3, and the motor is powered on to operate. When the pressure reaches the upper limit, the movable contact is connected to the upper limit contact, and the relay J2 is activated. Its normally closed contact is disconnected, cutting off the power supply to J1. Its normally open point is disconnected, J3 is released, and the motor stops running. Repeat this process to achieve automatic control.
