Leica EM UC7 offers semi thin, ultra-thin slicing and easy preparation, as well as smooth sample surface treatment, for the inspection of biological and industrial samples using transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and light microscopy.
The Leica EM UC7 ultra-thin slicer can perform both semi thin and ultra-thin slicing, providing perfectly flat slices for optical microscopes, transmission electron microscopes, scanning electron microscopes, and atomic force microscopes. The ergonomic appearance design, precise mechanical design, and intuitive touch screen control panel design have created a high-quality Leica EM UC7 ultra-thin slicer.

Ergonomic Design
comfortable to use
The Leica EM UC7 has multiple special ergonomic designs that provide a great user experience. With simple and quick adjustments, it can adapt to different users.
Operating comfort is the overall design goal of Leica EMUC7. The M80 stereo microscope equipped with Ergo Edge adaptive structure can adjust the lens height and angle according to the height and position of different users. There are two elbow supports designed on the shock-absorbing platform, which can adjust the height and left-right spacing, providing support for the arms. These features, combined with an ergonomic control system, will not cause fatigue even after working continuously for several hours.
Optimize visual observation position
The Leica EM UC7's unique concentric mobile observation system facilitates the observation of slices, even low water surface slices such as Lowycryls resin slices or dry slices. By using backlight, it is convenient to precisely control the movement of the cutting table towards the sample during cutting. At this time, the observation angle must be adjusted to adapt to different types of slicing knives.
The patented design of Leica Microsystems' concentric movement provides the most precise tool control, whether using a glass knife or a diamond knife.

Motor driven cutting table
The forward and backward movement of the cutting table is driven by a motor, which is a unique feature of Leica ultra-thin slicer. The use of a motor-driven tool holder for left and right movement on the Leica EM UC6 is a major advancement, and on the Leica EM UC7 controller, a quick adjustment button for left and right direction has been further added, making it more convenient to move left and right.
On the basis of motor-driven tool table, many useful functions can be extended, such as Leica's patented automatic block repair mode, left-right distance measurement, and patented diamond blade selection function.
Adjustable brightness LED lighting
LED light source, providing high brightness ceiling light, backlight, and sample through illumination light. All LED light sources are independent and can adjust brightness separately. Leica EM UC7 has added two top point lights to provide better illumination during blade cleaning or block repair, making it easier to observe.

Leica EM CRION electrostatic generator can remove surface static electricity from samples, reduce the impact of static electricity on slicing, and be applied to slicing specific samples. Adjustable anti-static devices are excellent auxiliary equipment for room temperature slicing. The controller of the electrostatic generator is already built into the Leica EM UC7 controller and does not require an additional controller. A simple and convenient foot control device that can be used for coordinated control, controlling the sample arm motor and Leica EM CRION electrostatic generator separately to make their steps consistent.

Non interfering cable
When using a photography system, the added cables can hinder the movement of the stereo microscope.
When using a photography system, the added cables can hinder the movement of the stereo microscope.
To address this issue, Leica Microsystems provides a separate cable tray,
Safely and effectively guide the cable to the back of the instrument.
