2、 Summary of Experimental Methods

Place the weighed sample in a crucible for decomposition and distillation. The residue undergoes cracking and coking reactions after being strongly heated for a certain period of time. After the specified heating time, place the crucible containing carbonaceous residue in a dryer to cool and weigh it, and calculate the residual carbon value (expressed as a percentage of the original sample's mass).

4、 Usage requirements and precautions:

1The Kangshi residual carbon analyzer shall be used in accordance with the provisions of GB/T268-87 Petroleum Product Residual Carbon Determination Method;

2When the outer crucible is placed inside the flame shield, the bottom of the crucible should be level with the lower plane of the flame shield;

3When conducting experiments, it is strictly prohibited to have flammable and explosive materials around the instrument, and hands and skin are strictly prohibited from touching the instrument parts above the blowtorch to avoid burns. The crucible should be extracted using crucible pliers;

4After the experiment is completed, hands and skin can only touch the upper part of the instrument when it has cooled to room temperature;

5The selection of spray lamps should be based on the combustion gas (liquefied gas or coal gas) used in the laboratory;
