Product usage characteristics: 1. Generally, compensating wires (cables) are allowed to work at temperatures ranging from -20 ℃ to+100 ℃, while heat-resistant compensating wires (cables) are allowed to work at temperatures ranging from -25 ℃ to+200 ℃; When laying compensating wires (cables), the ambient temperature should not be lower than 0 ℃, and the bending radius should not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the wire (cable).
Ordering instructions: 1. When placing an order, the product name, standard, model, specifications, quantity, and rated voltage should be specified; 2. Delivery length and time; 3. Other special requirements.
Precautions for using KCA temperature compensation wires for thermocouples
The two contacts connected to the thermocouple terminal should try to maintain the same temperature as possible.
2. Keep the temperature as consistent as possible at the connection point with the instrument terminal. Where there is a fan in the instrument cabinet, protection should be provided at the contact point to prevent the fan from blowing directly to the contact point.
3. Because the signal of the thermocouple is very low, at the microvolt level, if used over a long distance, the attenuation of the signal and the coupling of strong electrical interference in the environment can cause distortion of the thermocouple signal, resulting in inaccurate temperature measurement and control. In severe cases, temperature fluctuations may occur during control.
According to practical work, the length of thermocouple compensation wires is usually well controlled within 15m. If it exceeds 15m, it is recommended to use a temperature transmitter to transmit signals. Because the temperature transmitter converts the potential value corresponding to the temperature into direct current for transmission, it has strong anti-interference ability.
4. The wiring of compensation wires must be kept away from power lines and interference sources. In places where crossing is unavoidable, crossing should be used as much as possible, rather than parallel.
5. In order to improve the anti-interference performance of thermocouple connection wires, shielded compensation wires can be used, which is more effective in situations where there are many interference sources on site; But it is necessary to strictly ground the shielding layer, otherwise the shielding layer will not only fail to provide shielding, but also enhance interference.
