Product Introduction:

The HM-CY1 infrared spectrophotometer is developed and manufactured according to the Chinese environmental protection standards "HJ637-2018 Water Quality - Determination of Petroleum and Animal and Vegetable Oils - Infrared Spectrometric Method", "HJ1051-2019 Soil Petroleum Determination - Infrared Spectrometric Method", and "HJ1077-2019 Fixed Pollution Source Exhaust Gas - Determination of Oil Fume and Oil Mist - Infrared Spectrometric Method". This instrument is mainly used for the determination of oil content in surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater, soil, fixed pollution source exhaust gas, oil fume, and oil mist.

Application scope:

Infrared spectrophotometer oil analyzer can be widely used in water environment detection systems, sewage treatment plants, water companies, petrochemicals, universities and research institutes, hydrology and water conservancy, metallurgy and steel, biomedicine, agricultural environment monitoring, wool textile printing and dyeing, marine environment monitoring, papermaking, medicine, agricultural technology, marine transportation and other fields.

Product principle:

HM-CY1 infrared spectrophotometer is used to extract oil substances from water using tetrachloroethylene according to HJ637-2018 standard, determine the total extract, and then adsorb the extract with magnesium silicate. After removing animal and vegetable oils and other substances, petroleum products are determined. The total extract and petroleum content were calculated based on the absorbance A2930, A2960, and A3030 at spectral bands with wave numbers of 2930 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH2 group), 2960 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in CH3 group), and 3030 cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bond in aromatic hydrocarbon), respectively. The content of animal and vegetable oils is calculated based on the difference between the total extract and petroleum content.
