UP 2210 allows your laptop or workstation to communicate with serial RS-232 peripherals via USB (Universal Serial Bus). UP 2210 adds a COM port under Windows to your system through the USB port of your PC and is compatible with any model of RS-232 device. This plug and play USB solution is highly suitable for mobile, instrument, and POS applications, and each port has built-in 15KV ESD breakthrough protection, * meeting the strict requirements of various industrial environments. The USB plug and play function does not require consideration of IRQ, DMA, or I/O address resources, and can easily achieve serial port expansion. Customers no longer need to open the chassis or turn off the host to install directly, saving installation time and cost.
UP 2210 comes with USB 2.0 480 Mbps (high-speed), 128 byte FIFO, and integrated hardware/software flow control and data burst access mode.
