The Hyspex hyperspectral imaging instrument is developed based on multiple optical technologies. This series of imaging spectrometers was designed in 1995 for research on imaging spectra for national defense and space applications. So far, many remote sensing fields and institutions around the world have been equipped with Hyspex hyperspectral imaging spectrometers. Hyspex imaging spectrometer has the characteristics of compactness, portability, and high measurement accuracy. All Hyspex imaging spectrometers can be equipped with a high-precision rotating scanning device, which is integrated with the control software of the imaging spectrometer. The robust design provides good environmental adaptability and mechanical stability, making it an ideal system for field hyperspectral data acquisition in static target scenes.
