Of course, reducing wear can be achieved through material science methods such as selecting friction pair matching materials reasonably, and achieving the goal through reasonable structural design. Adopting reasonable lubrication is an effective method for reducing friction. Lubrication is the use of a material film to separate surfaces that move relative to each other. This material has low shear resistance and causes minimal wear. The main function of lubricating oil in gear transmission is to reduce frictional resistance and wear, in order to prolong the service life of mechanical parts as much as possible. In addition, lubricating oil also has functions such as cooling, flushing, protection, sealing, rust prevention, unloading, shock absorption, acting as a carrier for additives and structural materials.
1. Under normal circumstances, the horizontal cycloidal reducer adopts oil pool lubrication, and the oil level height should be kept in the middle of the sight glass. In harsh working conditions and high ambient temperatures, cyclic lubrication can be used.
2. Cycloid pinwheel reducers are generally lubricated with 40 # or 50 # mechanical oil at room temperature. In order to improve the performance of the reducer and extend its service life, it is recommended to use 70 # or 90 # extreme pressure gear oil. Lubricating oil should also be reconsidered when working at high and low temperatures.
3. When installing a planetary cycloidal pinwheel reducer vertically, it is necessary to strictly prevent the oil pump from cutting off oil to avoid damage to the components of the reducer.
4. When refueling, you can rotate the ventilation cap on the upper part of the engine seat to refuel. When draining oil, turn the drain plug at the bottom of the engine seat to release the dirty oil. There is no lubricating oil inside the gearbox when it leaves the factory.
5. After 100 hours of refueling operation, new oil should be replaced, and then continuous work should be carried out every six months (8-hour working system). If the working conditions are harsh, the oil change time can be appropriately shortened. Practice has proven that regular cleaning and oil change (such as 3-6 months) of the gearbox play an important role in extending its service life. Lubricating oil should be regularly replenished during use.
