Graphene battery electrode non-contact laser online thickness gauge is used in the new energy battery capacitor industry, metallurgical industry foil rolling, cold rolling, leveling, acid washing, stretch bending correction, scissors and other production lines for non-contact online continuous measurement and precise control of plate and strip thickness in cold rolling and hot rolling production. It has the characteristics of non penetrability and requires non-contact methods for hot-rolled strip thickness detection. The commonly used methods include isotope detection, X-ray detection, photoelectric detection, etc. Isotope detection and X-ray detection apply the principle of penetration detection to determine the thickness of the steel plate based on the attenuation of the radiation after passing through the steel plate, while the photoelectric method relies on the reflection of laser by the steel plate to determine the thickness of the steel plate according to the different reflection positions.

Each of these detection methods has its own advantages and disadvantages. Isotope detection requires high safety protection due to the use of isotopes as radiation sources. Due to the controllability, improved safety, and mature technology of X-ray testing, the equipment cost is high.

In recent years, it has been applied and has the characteristics of good safety and low cost. The laser online thickness gauge is developed based on fully drawing on the characteristics of similar foreign equipment and avoiding the defects of foreign thickness gauges. It is designed for the harsh environmental conditions of domestic cold rolling and hot rolling sites by adopting independent laser detection technology and reliable protective measures, meeting the needs of cold rolling, hot rolling, and strip thickness detection.

Our laser thickness gauge utilizes the principle of triangle distance measurement. The modulated laser emitted by the laser hits the upper and lower surfaces of the measured object to form two light spots. These two light spots are imaged onto a surface array CCD through an optical path, and the light spot signal is sampled and processed to obtain the continuous dynamic thickness value of the strip steel.

The system adopts industrial grade CCD optoelectronic devices and our specially developed acquisition and model recognition circuits. It adopts non-uniform linear correction technology, fixed image linear noise correction technology, electronic exposure technology, correlated double sampling technology, double exposure technology, and intelligent model learning technology, innovatively improving the overall accuracy and reliability of the equipment.
