1、 Before installation, the FS type fiberglass pipeline pump should be equipped with a foundation according to the selected pump type, shape, and installation dimensions. During installation, the installation location should be as convenient as possible for management and maintenance based on the requirements of the pipeline position.
2、 If the installation position of the pump body is higher than the liquid level, a filling device must be attached.
3、 Before starting the pump, fill the pump body with liquid before driving. It is strictly prohibited to operate or reverse without a medium, otherwise the mechanical seal may be damaged due to the lack of liquid cooling in the pump body.
4、 When parking, the liquid pipe valve should be opened and closed to avoid liquid backflow.
5、 When repairing, first remove the pump body, then loosen the mechanical seal screws and fold off the mechanical seal.
6、 If replacing the ball bearings or pump shaft, the frame must be folded down, the four screws on the front bearing cover must be loosened, the round nut and coupling on the rear end of the pump shaft must be folded down, and the pump shaft can be driven out in the front end direction. Then, the rear end shaft seal cover must be folded down
7、 When reassembling after repairing and replacing vulnerable parts.
1. First, install the front and rear bearings and oil seals into the front and rear covers respectively, and install the front cover with bearings on the pump shaft. Then, install the pump shaft with the front bearing cover on the frame.
2. Insert the bearing sleeve onto the pump shaft, and then install the rear cover with the bearing onto the pump shaft and frame.
3. Install the pressure ring, fit the coupling and tighten the nut.
4. Install the mechanical seal dynamic ring onto the pump shaft.
5. Install the static ring inside the pump body and tighten the compression screw sleeve.
6. Place the pump body with a static ring on the frame and adjust the fit of the mechanical seal dynamic and static rings (usually tightened by 3-3.5 mm). First, remove the pump body.
7. Tighten and fix the mechanical seal dynamic ring onto the pump shaft, and then; Wait for the pump body to be installed on the frame, and manually rotate the mechanical seal dynamic and static rings on the coupling to check if they match.
8. Install the impeller onto the pump shaft and use PTFE gaskets to adjust the gap between the impeller and the pump body (usually between 2-2.Smm). Place the anti-corrosion gasket in place, then tighten the impeller and cap. Finally, place the pump casing gasket, install the pump cover, and tighten the anti-corrosion nut.
9. Install the installed pump head onto the base plate and adjust the gap between the coupling and the motor axis to be perpendicular.
8、 Pay attention to regular maintenance, regularly check whether the pump runs smoothly, whether there are any abnormal vibrations, replace the elastic block, supplement the lubricating oil of the bearings according to the oil gauge, and regularly replace the lubricating oil in the frame (usually every three months).

How to prevent cavitation from occurring?

Before installing the FS fiberglass pipeline pump, please carefully calculate the installation height, preferably adding at least 0.3m of height allowance. The installation height should be lower than the calculated value.
The impact of flow rate changes on cavitation allowance should be fully considered. Each flow point of a pump corresponds to a corresponding cavitation allowance, and the cavitation allowance varies depending on the flow rate. In general, the higher the flow rate, the lower the installation height. If the pump operates below the rated flow rate, there will be no problem. If the pump is likely to operate in a high flow area, the cavitation allowance of the pump at high flow should be considered, and the installation height of the high flow working point should be recalculated instead of just calculating the rated point.
The inlet pipeline of FS type fiberglass pipeline pump cannot be smaller than the suction pipe diameter of the pump. In general, when calculating the installation height, the suction pipe diameter is selected based on the standard suction pipe diameter of the pump. If the suction pipe diameter becomes smaller during actual installation, it increases the suction resistance of the pump, which is equivalent to increasing the installation height of the pump and increasing the possibility of cavitation.
When installing the suction pipeline of FS type fiberglass pipeline pump, the number of elbows, reducers, and valves should be minimized as much as possible. The resistance coefficient of elbows, reducers, and valves is much higher than that of straight pipe sections. Adding elbows, reducers, and valves is equivalent to greatly increasing the length of straight pipe sections.
The sealing performance of the inlet pipeline should be intact and there should be no leakage points. Because once there is a leak, the inlet pipeline cannot form a high vacuum degree, and the liquid cannot enter the pump chamber.
