FRAKO power capacitor, also known as electrolytic capacitor, is a reactive power compensation device. FRAKO capacitors can "generate" reactive power (capacitor current) under the action of AC voltage. If the capacitors are connected in parallel to a load (such as an electric motor) or power supply equipment (such as a transformer), the reactive power that the load or power supply equipment needs to "absorb" is precisely supplied by the reactive power "generated" by the capacitors, which is called parallel compensation. Parallel compensation reduces line energy loss, improves voltage quality, increases power factor, and enhances system power supply capacity.
