The KEDTB Deltaba flow sensor is a high-performance flow sensor designed using differential pressure working principle and online insertion installation method. It accurately calculates and generates professional * through model data. It is a special throttling device whose output is differential pressure. The sensor measures pressure through a probe, which has two rows of unevenly distributed pressure holes in front and behind it. By averaging the different pressures or flow rates of the pipeline from top to bottom and from left to right through two rows of pressure holes, a differential pressure is formed, and then the mass flow rate or volume flow rate is calculated. Low power loss in pipelines
The pressure loss of a typical averaging tube flow sensor is much smaller than that of an orifice plate, only 5-10% of that of an orifice plate; On the other hand, due to the small pressure loss, there will be a small differential pressure (pressure difference between high and low pressure), which increases the requirements for selecting differential pressure transmitters and costs. Otherwise, the output accuracy of the transmitter will decrease because the range cannot reach full range. So a good probe must take into account both pressure loss and differential pressure. The special geometric surface design of KEDTB Deltaba flow sensor fully considers this factor. The cross-section itself is symmetrical, and the curved surface is divided into three parts. The facing part is a smooth section, allowing the probe to smoothly contact the medium; The second part is the acceleration section, which accelerates the flow velocity of the medium by an average of three times, and increases the pressure in the face section by increasing the contact surface with the medium; The third part is the peak of the high and low pressure boundary, where the resistance suddenly disappears and a low pressure zone is formed behind the probe. The actual color velocity spectrum can fully reflect the changes in the medium flow velocity. So, the design of KEDTB Deltaba probe meets the requirements of small pressure loss and large differential pressure.
high measurement accuracy
After third-party testing and based on new data, it has been shown that an accuracy of 1% can be achieved even in relatively short straight pipe sections. The straight pipe section with a precision of 1% is much shorter than ordinary products. The repeatability is 0.1%. Normal measurement accuracy; 0.2%. 0.5%, used for energy management accuracy; 0.1%, due to low pressure loss and minimal wear on the probe, as long as it is installed properly according to the calculation technology requirements, high accuracy can be maintained for a long time.
Low operating costs
Due to the small pressure loss, the power loss in the pipeline is also small. Generally speaking, the operating cost of KEDTB Deltaba sensors is only one tenth of that of orifice plates.
Small installation workload
Because the sensor operates in a plug-in mode, it has the characteristics of easy installation and simplicity. For most conventional diameters, only a small hole is made in the pipeline. The KEDTB Debaba flowmeter has an aperture of 35 millimeters. Then, the probe installation base is welded to the pipeline, and the sensor is tightened to basically complete the on-site installation. The workload is 15% of installing the orifice plate. Based on years of installation experience, drilling takes 5 minutes, welding the probe sleeve takes 5 minutes, inserting the fixed probe takes 2 minutes, installing the three valve group takes 2 minutes, installing the differential pressure transmitter takes 3 minutes, and wiring takes 2 minutes. The entire process takes approximately 19 minutes (integrated).
Free choice of integrated or split installation: KEDTB Deltaba's probe is a fully integrated probe. Whether the measured medium is gas or liquid, or high-temperature superheated steam, the differential pressure probe, temperature and pressure measurement, and differential pressure transmitter can be installed on one probe. There are more than 10 connection methods between the probe and differential pressure transmitter to choose from, including a condenser specifically designed for superheated steam, a high-pressure flange for directly connecting the transmitter, and a simple R1/2 "external thread, providing various connections for split/integrated installation to meet various needs. For superheated steam, most products require separate installation and must be equipped with a condenser and other accessories. The KEDTB Debaba flowmeter, together with the condenser, globe valve or ball valve, is provided safely, reliably, simply and practically, making it a truly integrated high-performance probe.
The hole is large and not easy to block
For smoke measurement or gas/liquid measurement with particles, blockage is a concern for most users. KENER guarantees that if the dust in the medium does not exceed 130mg/m3, no maintenance or blowing is required for the KEDTB Deltaba probe. From the perspective of fluid mechanics, any shape of wedge in a fluid will experience fluid accumulation at the front end, causing an increase in pressure, and a decrease in pressure behind the wedge. Dust in motion, regardless of how high or low the pressure is, may enter the holes in the wedge. When the fluid is stationary, due to Brownian motion, dust is more likely to enter the wedge-shaped hole. So the problem is not about the pressure level or any cross-section, but about how to make these dust particles come out and not accumulate. Undoubtedly, scheduled blowing is a solution. Kener Company has conducted extensive research on the distribution and aperture of the holes on the probe, and found that large aperture (8mm) makes it easy for foreign objects to enter and exit; The upper and lower holes are close to the edge of the probe (pipeline edge), making it difficult for foreign objects to accumulate. A small aperture undoubtedly makes it difficult to enter or exit, and entering is only a matter of time. The holes of other products are much smaller than those of KEDTB Deltaba flow meters.
