It is a high-purity spherical silica gel filler with extremely low metal impurity content, which reduces the complexation effect of some metal chelates on the silica gel matrix. The surface of Kromasil silicone is composed of silicon hydroxyl groups, with a high coverage of silane. It is not easily hydrolyzed or decomposed under high or low pH conditions and can be used stably under pH=1.5~9.5 conditions. Due to its high carbon content, low surface polarity, extremely low chemical purity, and high surface separation efficiency, this filler avoids the adverse tailing phenomenon that usually occurs when analyzing alkaline samples by reacting with acidic silanol groups, thus giving it good bee symmetry and high column efficiency.
