The special delay circuit allows the detector to have a two minute delay after detecting precipitation, enabling the probe to distinguish between residual rainwater and light rain, ensuring measurement accuracy.DRD11A can also estimate rainfall intensity through analog signals.The default rainfall intensity is divided into three types: light rain, moderate rain, and heavy rain. The heating element contained inside can ensure that the surface of the detector dries quickly and prevent fog and condensed water vapor from having adverse effects on the detector. At the same time, the heater will start in a low-temperature environment to melt the snowfall, thereby achieving measurement of the amount of snowfall.
