Full plastic flow path design
The CIC100 ion chromatograph adopts a fully plastic flow path design, with pump heads and flow paths made of PEEK. It can use strong acid and strong alkali eluents, and is compatible with 100% organic solvents, making it convenient for users to rinse and maintain complex samples after testing. At the same time, the CIC100 ion chromatograph can perform cation or anion analysis, making it a versatile ion chromatograph that can be updated with national standards. Replace the columns and wash solution to meet the constantly improving national standard analysis methods.
Compact and reasonable design:
The CIC100 ion chromatograph divides the electronic and control section, as well as the column box, into two modules. Ensure that the shower solution is separated from the electronic control part during daily use for easy maintenance.
Sample injector:
The Rheodyne9725 full PEEK sampler is used to ensure accurate injection volume. A quantification ring of up to 10 milliliters can be used on the 9725, and a quantification ring of 1 milliliter can be used for direct injection without enrichment, achieving extremely low detection limits.
The world's most advanced suppressor technology:
The CIC100 ion chromatograph adopts the world's most advanced sixth generation suppressor technology, which can completely solve the problems of water negative peak and high background of sodium carbonate eluent formula, making ion chromatography a more stable and accurate analytical method.
Efficient high-pressure all plastic PEEK pump:
The low pulsation, single plunger constant current pump on the CIC100 ion chromatograph is made entirely of PEEK and uses a small volume PEEK damper, allowing the CIC100 ion chromatograph pump to withstand pressures up to 4000psi and adapt to various flow rates, achieving the goal of optimizing analysis methods. The pump and damper are compatible with rinsing solutions containing organic solvents, without the damper leaking due to damage from organic solvents, making the CIC100 ion chromatograph more durable and versatile for analysis.
The constant flow pump has a flow rate of 0.5-4ml/min and an increment of 0.1ml/min. It can be used in conjunction with different anion and cation columns for analysis, providing greater flexibility.
PPb level analysis:
The CIC100 ion chromatograph can increase the injection volume without affecting the quantitative and qualitative analysis of fluoride ions. The DSPlUS technology of the CIC100 ion chromatograph can directly inject up to one milliliter without affecting the separation and quantification of water negative peaks, improving sensitivity and enabling the CIC100 ion chromatograph to operate without enrichment equipment; Achieve PPb level analysis.
Solving the problem of negative water peak:
The reason for the occurrence of water negative peak:
When using a sodium bicarbonate/sodium carbonate rinse solution formula for rinsing, the inhibition reaction occurs due to the high signal of carbonic acid in the conductivity detector compared to the water level. The phenomenon of water negative peak formed when the moisture in the sample passes through the conductivity detector and the conductivity value is lower than that of the eluent.
The water negative peak has a significant impact on the quantification and qualitative analysis of early eluted ions, especially fluoride ions, which cannot be solved by existing membrane suppressors. As the injection volume increases, the relative concentration of water also increases, and the water negative peak also increases proportionally to the injection volume, limiting the injection volume of traditional suppression techniques. For applications that frequently require the detection of fluoride ions, such as tap water, the CIC100 ion chromatograph provides a superior solution.
PH can provide wider selectivity:
The analysis column using sodium carbonate/sodium bicarbonate formula can improve the selectivity for different ions by adjusting different pH values within the pH range of 7-13. At the same time, it reduces the balance time of the columns and improves the efficiency of laboratory work. Using the same column can separate different ions by changing the chemical combination of the eluent. Expand the application scope and reduce the need to replace pillars.
