Pressure affects reaction efficiency: For reactions involving gas, pressure can change the solubility of gas, increase substrate contact, and quickly optimize process parameters by improving reaction efficiency through pressure changes.

Pressure affects reaction time: In continuous flow reactions, when a reagent is a gas or an inert gas is introduced, the actual volume occupied by the gas is reduced by increasing the reactor pressure. This will leave more space for the liquid portion of the reaction, thereby improving the utilization and productivity of the reactor.

Pressure can enhance reaction conditions: solvents have an inherent boiling point under normal pressure, and the experimental temperature is usually lower than the boiling point of the solvent. When this temperature cannot achieve the reaction effect, it is necessary to replace the solvent with a higher boiling point. Changing the solvent can solve the problem but also increase the complexity of post reaction processing. During the continuous reaction process, increasing the pressure and boiling point of the reagent can broaden the temperature screening range, achieving better reaction results under the same solvent.
