1Autolite spark plugs from the United StatesBrand Development History:
The birth of Autolite began in 1911 when two small companies began producing car lighting fixtures and became a thriving automotive parts manufacturer in the 1930s. But the history of being a spark plug manufacturer began in 1935, when Royce G. Martin, the president of Autoline, equipped a laboratory to develop an Autolite spark plug.
The birth of Autolite in the United States began in 1911, when two small companies began producing car lights and became a thriving automotive parts manufacturer in the 1930s. The history of being a spark plug manufacturer began in 1935, when Royce G. Martin, the president of Electric Autolite Company, equipped a laboratory to develop * Autolite spark plugs. The * * * of this project is Robert Twells, a ceramic engineer who has been passionate about researching current and ceramic insulator technologies and gradually began providing spark plugs and other ignition components for automotive * * * including Chrysler, Studebaker, Packard, and Willys. Today, the American Autolite brand continues to develop, providing high-quality ignition products for the automotive aftermarket and OEM, including spark plugs, ignition wire sleeves, and coil plugs. *Process control and automated testing help ensure that Autolite products meet strict internal and customer requirements

3、 Basic principles and structure of the product:
Autolite spark plugs are key components of engines, and their effectiveness directly affects the functionality of the engine. The principle of a gasoline engine is to generate power through the timely combustion of fuel and mixture, and gasoline, as a fuel, is difficult to self ignite even in high temperature environments. Therefore, it is necessary to generate sparks through the discharge phenomenon between electrodes to ignite it, which is called "spark"; Spark plug” The function. The replacement mileage of spark plugs varies depending on the vehicle model. Generally, they are replaced every 20000 kilometers. Please refer to the "Maintenance Manual" for details and replace them in a timely manner.
Autolite Copper Core Spark Plug: Made of precision rolled threaded cold-formed steel housing, with all copper core electrodes providing better performance and integrated terminal posts increasing strength. Autolite copper core spark plugs are sealed with copper glass, connecting the insulator and the center electrode of the terminal post together. This ensures full voltage and 100% leak proof sealing at the spark gap. Autolite has a wide range of application guidelines, covering everything related to internal combustion engines. To ensure smooth and reliable operation of your engine, simply switch to some new Autolite copper core spark plugs.
Autolite spark plugs have the same heat resistance as this, but also require heat release that does not reach the starting point of surface ignition. Autolite spark plug mechanical strength: can adapt to intense pressure changes; During the inhalation process, it can reach a gas pressure below 1, and during the explosion process, it can reach a gas pressure above 45. *Mechanical strength that can adapt to such intense pressure changes. Autolite spark plugs can maintain sufficient insulation for high voltage requirements of approximately 10-30kV under rapid temperature and pressure changes.
The necessary performance of Autolite spark plugs includes heat resistance, which can adapt to extremely hot and cold situations. The internal temperature of the spark plug reaches 2000 ℃ during the combustion of the mixed gas, and the low-temperature gas is cooled during the suction stroke, causing the rapid heating and cooling phenomenon of the 4-stroke engine to turn 2 revolutions into 1 revolution during engine operation. Similar to this heat resistance, it is also required to have heat release that does not reach the starting point of surface ignition. Mechanical strength: It can adapt to intense pressure changes and reach below 1 gas pressure during the suction stroke, and above 45 gas pressure during the explosion stroke. *Mechanical strength that can adapt to such intense pressure changes. Platinum spark plug

5、 Installation and service recommendations for Autolite copper spark plugs in the United States
1. Collect the necessary tools and parts - a set of automatic ignition spark plug ratchet, spark plug socket (ensure you have the appropriate size) extension, gap tool, and dielectric grease. Other manual tools may be required on certain vehicles.
2. Remove the spark plug wire or coil. Grasp the protective cover of the plug wire and turn it about a quarter turn to release the seal, then pull it to close directly. Stubborn boots may require the use of plug in pliers. Use tape to label the wires during disassembly to avoid crossing or disconnecting only one at a time. If your vehicle has a coil type plug, disconnect the coil connector, remove the clamping bolt, and take out the coil.
3. Before loosening each spark plug, please clear the spark plug by blowing it with compressed air, workshop vacuum, or soda ash. This prevents the plug from being removed when pollutants fall from the combustion chamber.
4. Remove the plugs and align them in the order of the cylinders. *Visual inspection of the plug can identify potential issues that may need to be corrected or display that they are all good. AutoLite releases plug prompt inspection guide for more information.
5. Follow the recommendations in the user manual or Autolite for the new plug spark plug catalog. Measure the gap between the center electrode and the ground electrode using a gap gauge. The instrument should be tight but easy to pass through. If it is too loose or too tight, use a gap tool to adjust the gap.
6. Screw in the new plug by hand until it is tightened. If the plugs are also tightened quickly, clean the threads with a thread comb when screwing them in by hand. Use a torque wrench to tighten the spark plug manufacturer's recommendations according to the following steps, or refer to the automatic lubrication spark plug catalog if you do not have a torque wrench.
7. Check whether the plug wires and sheath (or the coil and sheath system on the plug) are fragile or cracked, and inspect the plug terminals inside each sheath. Replace suspicious coils, sheaths, or wire as needed.
