High efficiency is a prominent feature of the new S1 series, which comes with a fast charging battery and can be directly connected to an AC power source for use. The intuitive user interface enables operators to effortlessly remember the operation methods of the instrument. Two rotary switches and a large background light display that can simultaneously display multiple data make the operation of the instrument very simple. The operation of the instrument has high safety, and the safety of the 5 kV and 10 kV models meets the CAT IV 600 V standard and can be operated at a height of 3000 meters. The remote control function of the instrument is welcomed by original equipment manufacturers and maintenance personnel, who can automatically perform impedance testing on the factory floor, and technical personnel at substations can also operate from a more comfortable and safe distance.
The S1 series features a double-layer shell design. The sturdy outer layer can protect the instrument from damage caused by knocking and impact, while the inner layer is fire-resistant. The IP level protection of the casing can prevent moisture and dust from entering the instrument during storage and handling. The buckle type cloth bag on the shell is used to store the test line, ensuring that the test line is always carried on the instrument. The cover is detachable for easy use in special circumstances.
In insulation testing mode, there are five preset voltage ranges and one user set voltage lock range. The diagnostic tests preset by the instrument include polarization index (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), dielectric discharge (DD), step voltage (SV), and ramp test.
