Overview

The ANY maze animal behavior analysis system was developed by the American company Stoeling. It is currently the most powerful and widely applicable system in the field of animal behavior. Thousands of SCI articles have been published using this system, and it is also the most cost-effective imported behavioral software to date. With just one set of software, almost all behavioral experiments can be conducted.

Product Details

ANY maze animal behavior analysis systemDeveloped by the American company Stoeling, it is currently the most powerful and widely applicable system in the field of animal behavior. Thousands of SCI articles have been published using this system, and it is also the most cost-effective imported behavioral software to date. With just one set of software, almost all behavioral experiments can be conducted.

ANY maze animal behavior analysis systemIt can be used for various maze experiments such as Morris water maze, T-maze, Y-maze, radiation maze (eight arm maze), elevated cross maze, elevated zero maze, Barnes maze, and behavior change analysis of damaged animals. This system can record animal activity trajectories and raw activity videos, while obtaining real-time changes in animal movement trajectories and animal activity forms (diet, sleep, movement, chasing, socializing, etc.) data.

System Features

1. The ANY maze animal behavior analysis system has a wide range of applications and can support almost all behavioral experiments

2. *Multiple supports conducting 64 identical or different experiments simultaneously

3. *Multiple supports conducting 64 identical or different experiments simultaneously

4. You can define relevant rules on your own to achieve intelligent automatic start and end of experiments

5. Support algorithms such as "three-point recognition" (head, center of gravity, tail) and experimental animal trajectory prediction

6. The software operation process is simple and user-friendly, with detailed explanations for each step and intelligent verification prompts

7. The software has complete indicators and parameters, covering almost all behavioral experimental indicators

8. The software provides comprehensive extension services and can even export experimental reports (papers) that meet the requirements with just one click

9. Anymaze has comprehensive reporting and analysis functions, with over 30 types of statistical tests built-in

10. Multiple ways to view results: can be represented in various forms such as text, charts, animations, etc

11. The results can be saved in various forms and further analyzed and processed using third-party software such as SPSS, EXCEL, SYSTAT, etc

System Composition

The ANY maze animal behavior analysis system consists of a camera, computer, and image acquisition and analysis software. The camera is installed above the animal activity area, which is set by the experimenter to have various shapes such as circles, rectangles, etc. The captured animal activity images are transmitted to the analysis computer. The computer digitizes the image signals at a speed of 30 frames per second, recording the position, speed, dwell time, movement trajectory, distance, and other parameters of interest to researchers of one or more animals in one or more areas at different times. The software automatically classifies and summarizes these parameters according to the researchers' design to obtain animal activity reports.

Functional Description

1

The software adopts a humanized tree structure system, and each operation step has detailed corresponding setting instructions

2

Support simultaneous experiments of three-point recognition (head, center of gravity, tail) and contour recognition, and can detect the animal's tendency trajectory

3

The recognition sensitivity setting adopts an automatic segmented structure, which avoids the tedious adjustment of experimental personnel

4

Software compatibility supports operating systems such as Win7, XP, Vista, etc;

5

The software does not require the purchase of keys, is bound to the computer, is safe and reliable, and there is no possibility of loss

6

The software has a built-in ANYmaze video converter, which supports analysis of all video formats after conversion and is compatible with almost all capture cards on the market

7

The software is compatible with all behavioral maze experiments and does not require additional modules

8

Various new animal behavior experiments can be designed using the built-in device tools in the software

9

The software supports 12 video capture frame rate adjustments

10

The software provides four experimental modes: video trajectory mode, Freezing monitoring mode, No Tracking mode, and No video mode

11

Support viewing statistical experimental data in both average and arbitrary segmentation modes(Open field testEspecially applicable)

12

Various complex experimental program controls can be achieved through custom events and actions, such as automatically ending video recording, sending prompt emails, etc

13

Various behavioral experimental indicators can be statistically analyzed, including:

1. Conventional indicators such as exercise distance, dwell time, average speed, etc

2. Freeze related indicators, such as Freeze time

3. Head tracking indicators, such as angle with novel objects, number of contacts, contact time, etc

14

Experimental results can be calculated separately or in combination based on experimental groups, animal attributes, experimental time, and other factors

15

Can export static trajectory maps, dynamic trajectory maps, and histograms

16

The software has the function of automatic error correction or prompt during the experimental design process

17

We can conduct experiments on spinning behavior

18

The software supports conducting experiments on animals from multiple regions simultaneously, such as conducting open field experiments on 16 mice simultaneously;
