【Background of the Conference

In recent years, driven by the dual goals of "dual carbon" and the restructuring of the global energy system, new energy vehicles and new energy storage industries have entered the fast lane of development, and the recycling and utilization of power batteries have become key issues related to environmental security and resource cycling. By 2025, the retirement volume of waste lithium-ion batteries in China is expected to exceed 600000 tons, and the recovery rate of metals such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel has reached the international advanced level. However, the industry still faces challenges such as traceability management, scattered recycling channels, and difficult profitability. With the official introduction of the new "Interim Measures for the Management of Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Power Batteries for New Energy Vehicles", China's power battery recycling and utilization industry will enter a new stage of standardized management throughout the entire chain.

Since August 2016, the Battery Recycling and Utilization Committee of the China Electronic Energy saving Technology Association has held multiple professional conferences on power battery recycling and utilization technology exchange. In order to promote the rapid development of the industry, address the problems encountered by the industry, and strengthen cooperation and communication in the industrial chain, the Battery Recycling Committee of the China Electronic Energy Conservation Technology Association and the Power Battery Recycling Network will hold the "11th China Power Battery Recycling Industry Development Summit Forum" in Hangzhou on June 15-16, 2026.
