8CISILE2026 Independent Innovation Award Selection Activity

The CISILE "Independent Innovation Award" was born in 2006, initiated and hosted by the China Instrument and Meter Industry Association. It carries the mission and vision of promoting independent innovation in the industry, improving industry level and the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements, and aims to inject a continuous stream of innovative vitality into China's scientific instrument field.

As an important event of CISILE, the Independent Innovation Competition has been successfully held 17 times, witnessing the growth and transformation of the industry over the years. Starting from 2021, in order to keep up with the pace of technological progress in the instrumentation industry, the evaluation activities have been adjusted to be organized every two exhibitions. The last event was held in May 2024 in conjunction with CISILE 2024. 27 units stood out and won the CISILE 2024 "Independent Innovation Award" with 26 outstanding scientific instrument works independently developed. Those high-performance and highly innovative instruments are like shining stars, illuminating the path of the industry and presenting a wonderful and fruitful feast for the industry.

Now, the CISILE 2026 "Independent Innovation Award" is approaching us with new hope and challenges, and will continue to shine alongside the exhibition. The evaluation work is conducted by a review panel composed of researchers from key domestic research institutes, renowned university professors, and industry experts. With a fair and professional attitude, the selection is strictly carried out according to established procedures and high standards, and the concept of providing the purest support and encouragement for enterprise innovation is upheld. The selection activity does not charge any fees to the enterprise.

9The 7th China Laboratory Development Conference (CLC 2026)

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "we need to strengthen the construction of national strategic scientific and technological forces, optimize positioning and layout, improve the national laboratory system, and enhance the integration capability of the national innovation system." This not only points out the direction for current scientific and technological work, but also strengthens the goal of the China Laboratory Development Conference (CLC) for continuous innovation.

The 7th China Laboratory Development Conference (CLC 2026) will be held concurrently with CISILE 2026. The 6th China Laboratory Development Conference (CLC 2025) was successfully held in Beijing in 2025, bringing together more than 60 industry authoritative experts and 931 industry elites to discuss hot topics such as industry development trends, technological innovation, and safety management, contributing valuable wisdom and strength to the progress and development of China's scientific instrument and laboratory equipment industry. This conference will invite academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, well-known experts at home and abroad, and representatives of enterprises to give keynote speeches on key issues such as hot topics and difficulties of concern to laboratory research, management personnel, and testing institutions.
