Henan, as a major agricultural province and a core area for grain production, is an important grain production base in China. General Secretary attaches great importance to the work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in Henan. From 2014 to the inspection and guidance work in Lankao, to the discussion of the Henan delegation at the second session of the 13th National People's Congress in 2019, and then to the inspection of the Taocha Canal Head Hub in Xichuan County, Nanyang City and Anyang, General Secretary always talks about the work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, emphasizing that Henan, as a major agricultural province, must achieve the goal of becoming a strong agricultural province in rural revitalization.
