Recently, the highly anticipated "2026 Xinjiang Clean Energy and Power Grid Expo and Xinjiang New Energy, New Materials and Related Industries Expo" (referred to as the "2026 Xinjiang Energy Exhibition") has officially launched its global exhibition and investment promotion work. The core theme of this exhibition is "Practicing Green Energy and Focusing on New Quality Development". It is scheduled to be held from October 29th to 31st, 2026 at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Urumqi. The expected exhibition scale is 30000 square meters, and it will create a national level energy industry event that integrates product display, technology exchange, business docking, and trend discussion.
As an important national energy resources strategic support base and the core node of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, Xinjiang's new energy industry has a strong momentum of development. By 2025, the energy storage scale has exceeded 128 million kilowatts, ranking the forefront of the country. The demand for energy connectivity with Central Asian countries is increasingly urgent. This exhibition is guided by the Investment Professional Committee of Large and Medium sized Enterprises of the China Investment Association and the China Business Culture Research Association, and organized by Boda Exhibition (Xinjiang) Co., Ltd. Based on Xinjiang's resource endowment and geographical advantages, it aims to build a cross regional energy cooperation bridge.
The exhibition will set up four core exhibition halls, covering innovative achievements in the entire energy industry chain: the Energy Group Achievement Hall will showcase project cases and technological achievements of leading enterprises in the fields of electricity, hydrogen energy, energy storage, etc; The Low Carbon Energy Pavilion focuses on photovoltaic modules, wind turbines, hydrogen storage and transportation equipment, and various energy storage systems; The Emergency Equipment Technology Museum presents key equipment such as mine safety and power emergency; The Science and Technology Equipment Museum covers intelligent solutions such as power inspection robots and ultra-high voltage transmission channel technology. The scope of exhibits ranges from traditional energy equipment to new energy and new materials, fully meeting the needs of industrial upgrading and market cooperation.
In terms of participating groups, the exhibition will achieve precise docking of domestic and foreign resources. Domestically, more than 500 key enterprises such as the "Five Big and Six Small" energy groups, PetroChina, and TBEA, as well as investment and financing institutions such as China Construction Bank, will be invited to attend the conference, including government units such as the Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology from all provinces in China; Internationally, we plan to invite energy departments, enterprises, and industry organizations from countries along the Silk Road such as Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to deepen cross-border energy industry collaboration. The previous exhibition has attracted more than 2000 units to attend and negotiate, and the ambassadors of Central Asian countries to China have delivered keynote speeches, laying a solid foundation for international cooperation.
At the same time, the exhibition will hold the Xinjiang Clean Energy Industry Development Conference, the Xinjiang Power Grid and Energy Storage Industry Integration Development Conference, and the Xinjiang Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Conference
The Carbon Peak and Industrial Energy Conservation Development Conference, project inspection activities, and other high-level events focused on hot topics such as extreme environmental energy applications and electricity market reforms. Technical seminars, one-on-one project docking meetings, and new product launches were organized to promote the deep integration of government, enterprises, and research. Currently, multiple companies have expressed their intention to participate in the exhibition, hoping to expand their domestic and international markets through the exhibition platform.
The launch of the 2026 Xinjiang Energy Exhibition is not only an important opportunity for the high-quality development of Xinjiang's energy industry, but also a key link connecting domestic and international dual circulation. The Organizing Committee sincerely invites enterprises and institutions in the global energy field to the event to explore the path of green transformation, share new opportunities for energy cooperation along the "the Belt and Road", and inject strong momentum into the implementation of national "double carbon" goals and regional economic transformation.
