In order to assist agricultural machinery enterprises in deeply cultivating the Vietnamese market, with the support of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and relevant departments in China, the China Agricultural Machinery Circulation Association, the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association, the China Agricultural Mechanization Association, and the Vietnam Agricultural Machinery Engineering Association (VSAGE) will jointly hold the second CIAME Asia Agricultural Machinery Exhibition - "2026 Vietnam International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition" in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 　　Market Introduction

The land area of Vietnam is 33.13 million hectares, of which 13.06 million hectares are agricultural land, accounting for 39.43% of the total land area. The main crops in Vietnam include rice, sugarcane, cassava, rubber, corn, bananas, coffee beans, coconuts, oranges, etc. Among them, rice has the largest planting area, about 7.44 million hectares, with a yield of about 42.67 million tons, ranking fifth in the world. Rice cultivation is mainly concentrated in southern Vietnam, with three seasons of cultivation per year. The Mekong region is the main rice producing area in the south. In addition, Vietnam has significantly increased its investment in the agricultural sector between 2020 and 2025, making it a key area for national development. In the next five years, it will continue to invest heavily in the development of modern agriculture.

In recent years, China has been the largest importer of agricultural machinery in Vietnam, with large amounts of imports of tractors, harvesting machinery, farming machinery, field management machinery, horticultural and forage machinery, food processing machinery, agricultural vehicles, and parts. In 2023, Vietnam's total import of Chinese agricultural machinery was 332 million US dollars, accounting for about 30% of Vietnam's total import of agricultural machinery. At present, Vietnam is strictly restricting the import of second-hand agricultural machinery, while Chinese agricultural machinery has obvious advantages in replacing Japanese and Korean second-hand agricultural machinery. This is a rare opportunity for Chinese agricultural machinery enterprises to enter the Vietnamese market.

The Vietnamese government attaches great importance to the development of agriculture. In 2021, it formulated and adopted the "Development Strategy for Agricultural Mechanization and Processing by 2030", which sets specific goals for each production sector, including: by 2025, the growth rate of added value in the agricultural product processing industry will exceed 8%, the scale and comprehensive mechanization rate of livestock and poultry breeding will exceed 60%, and the mechanization rate of aquaculture will exceed 70%; By 2030, the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation and harvesting will exceed 70%, the mechanization rate of aquaculture will exceed 90%, and the growth rate of added value in the agricultural product processing industry will exceed 10%.

In recent years, the high added value brought by economic crop cultivation has also led to an increasing demand for high-power tractors among farmers; In addition, there is also a certain market for hand-held tractors suitable for small paddy fields and vegetable planting areas in some regions;
