The 19th Symposium on Reactive Polymers of the Chinese Chemical Society

Approved by the Chinese Chemical Society, the 19th Symposium on Reactive Polymers is scheduled to be held at Nankai University from August 24th to August 26th, 2018. This conference is jointly organized by the School of Chemistry at Nankai University, the Institute of Polymer Chemistry at Nankai University, the Key Laboratory of Functional Polymer Materials, and the editorial department of Ion Exchange and Adsorption. As a supplier of instruments for chemical laboratories and industrial fields, Yulaibo will participate in and sponsor this seminar.

Academician He Binglin is a polymer chemist and educator in China, and the leader of the Chinese ion exchange resin industry. He is known as the "father of Chinese ion exchange resins". Academician He Binglin has served as the head of the Department of Chemistry at Nankai University and the director of the Institute of Polymer Chemistry. He has also held positions such as President of Qingdao University, Executive Director of the Chinese Chemical Society, and Deputy Director of the Polymer Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. Academician He Binglin founded the Department of Polymer Science at Nankai University in 1958, which is one of the earliest established polymer disciplines in China.
In 2018, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician He Binglin and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Polymer Science Department at Nankai University, in order to commemorate and inherit Mr. He's spiritual character, the School of Chemistry at Nankai University held a series of activities to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician He Binglin and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Polymer Science Department at Nankai University.
