Brief Introduction

With the increasing efforts in environmental protection, the requirements for motor vehicle exhaust testing have also correspondingly increased,Motor vehicle exhaust emissionsThe implementation of the National VI standard is imminent, and Shandong Province is upgrading and renovating the testing line equipment of all motor vehicle testing stations in the province. Calibration of the important exhaust gas analysis flowmeter for the testing line industry is of utmost importance.

Recently, a customer in the testing line industry sought a flow meter to calibrate the exhaust gas analysis flow meters of equipment manufacturers such as Zhejiang University Mingquan, Anche, Huayan, Nanhua, New Lingzhi, and Shenbang. Based on the parameters provided by the customer, our technical department carefully studied and compared them. The KLWQD gas turbine flow meter we produced and developed meets the calibration requirements of the testing line exhaust gas analysis flow meter. The calibration flow rate is between 90L/S-180L/S (324m ³/h-648m ³/h), which meets the III flow standard of our gas turbine flow meter DN100 caliber. However, the testing line customer still has doubts and concerns about the quality of our products. We specially sent a DN100 III gas turbine flow meter to Yantai Steam Measurement Station for inspection. And successfully obtained a 1.0 level verification certificate, the customer has put their heart in their stomach this time.

After on-site flow calibration, the gas turbine flowmeter produced by our company has achieved a calibration accuracy of 1.0 level for the exhaust gas analysis flowmeter of the detection line. The customer's detection line has also passed the acceptance of the expert group and successfully completed the upgrade to the National VI standard.

How to choose a reliable flowmeter suitable for automotive exhaust testing should be considered from the following four aspects:

1. Explosion proof certification: Recently, the explosion accident of chemical enterprises in Yancheng, Jiangsu, alerted us that safety is more important than Mount Tai. There are some flammable and explosive gases present in automobile exhaust emissions, so explosion-proof requirements for electronic circuits must be met. 2. Type approval: This is a requirement that regular manufacturers must possess, and the units that obtain type approval are companies that have undergone strict review, ensuring the quality of their products. Batch certification can also be queried through a serial number. As long as batch information can be found online, it generally belongs to a legitimate manufacturer.

3. Testing: It is of utmost importance for the product, and the product must be tested by a sonic nozzle calibration device before leaving the factory,

The standard for verifying gas turbines provides a clear explanation of durability. Flow meters must be subjected to a high flow overload of 1.2 to 1.5 times (e.g. 1.5X650m ³/h) for 1 hour, and the detection accuracy is still not affected, in order to determine that durability can reach the standard of one year and meet the characteristics of automobile exhaust, long measurement interval time, and short flow rate improvement.

4. The refueling device must be equipped, mainly considering the corrosion damage of exhaust components to the bearings. Refueling not only has a lubricating effect on the bearings, but also has an anti-corrosion effect, which can be applied to the characteristics of measuring the breakage of the detection line during the long cycle. Products without refueling devices are structures where bearings are pre immersed in oil or coated with protective grease to prevent leakage, without considering the aging time of the grease. Instrument oil generally has a six-month aging time, so it is inferred that products without refueling will affect the pass rate of secondary inspection. And the instrument oil should fully consider the characteristics of automobile exhaust when selecting suitable instrument oil.
