With the implementation of the Double * Project, relevant universities in various regions are actively preparing and showcasing their talents. At the end of the year of Dingyou and the beginning of 2018, Shimadzu Corporation took advantage of this opportunity to jointly host the "2018 Shimadzu Henan Materials Science Forum" with major universities in Henan Province.

This forum is held at the Modern Analysis and Computing Center of Zhengzhou University. As a world-class university under the Double * Project in Henan Province, Zhengzhou University's research level in materials science plays a leading role in the province. Professor Zhang Shusheng, Director of the Modern Analysis and Computing Center at Zhengzhou University, Professor Chen Jingbo, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Professor Shao Guosheng (a thousand people) actively participated in this forum. Especially the high-precision quantitative analysis of elements by the electron probe microanalyzer and the fully automated analysis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy left a deep impression on the attendees. Chen Qiang from the marketing department of Shimadzu Corporation introduced the application of atomic force microscopy in various material research, emphasizing the analytical operation of rate and the breakthrough in resolution brought by frequency modulation mode.
