Force or shortening reaction residence time is a research hotspot in this field. At present, most commonly used catalysts are applied in wet catalytic oxidation processes, and finding catalysts with broad-spectrum catalytic performance for supercritical water oxidation technology is a difficulty in promoting this technology. Photocatalytic oxidation technology is developed on the basis of photochemical oxidation technology. Photochemical oxidation technology is a reaction process in which organic pollutants are oxidized and degraded under visible light or ultraviolet light. Part of the near ultraviolet light (290400nm) in the natural environment is easily absorbed by organic pollutants, and strong photochemical reactions occur in the presence of active substances, leading to the degradation of organic matter. However, due to the limitations of reaction conditions, photochemical oxidation degradation is often insufficient and prone to the production of various aromatic organic intermediates, which becomes a problem that needs to be overcome in photochemical oxidation. Since Carey et al. first used TiO2 photocatalysis to degrade biphenyl and chlorinated biphenyl in 1976, the research hotspot of photocatalytic oxidation technology has shifted to the direction of photocatalytic oxidation degradation of organic pollutants using TiO2 as a catalyst. Due to the simple structure of photocatalytic oxidation technology equipment, mild reaction conditions, easy control of operating conditions, strong oxidation ability, and no secondary pollution, as well as the high chemical stability, non toxicity, and low cost of TiO2, TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation technology is a new type of water treatment technology with broad application prospects.
The development of ultrasonic oxygen sonochemistry has attracted increasing attention to its application in water and wastewater treatment. The power source of ultrasonic oxidation is acoustic cavitation. When a sufficiently strong ultrasonic wave (15kHz 20MHz) passes through an aqueous solution, during the half cycle of acoustic negative pressure, the sound pressure amplitude exceeds the internal static pressure of the liquid, and the cavitation nuclei in the liquid rapidly expand; During the half cycle of sound wave positive pressure, the bubble bursts again due to adiabatic compression, with a duration of about 0.1 μ s. At the moment of rupture, a local high-temperature and high-pressure environment of approximately 5000K and 100MPa is generated, and a strong impact microjet with a velocity of 110m/s is produced. The equipment used for ultrasonic oxidation is a magneto electric or piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer, which generates ultrasonic waves through electromagnetic transduction. The most commonly used types in the laboratory are radiation plate ultrasonic instruments, probe type, and NAP reactors. Ultrasonic oxidation reaction conditions are mild, usually carried out at room temperature, with low equipment requirements, and is a promising pollution-free and green treatment technology with broad application prospects.
However, direct exposure of meat to UV radiation can produce an oxidizing odor, and dairy products also have the same problem when exposed to UV radiation. The production of these odors is due to the photochemical reaction of fats in meat and milk caused by the absorption of ozone and nitrogen oxides produced by ultraviolet radiation in food. Although there is currently no evidence to suggest that these products are harmful to the human body, the impact on flavor is a major obstacle to the application of this technology in meat and milk. Research suggests that this photochemical reaction can be prevented by filtering out shorter wavelength ultraviolet light or by covering the product with a layer of inert gas before irradiation. When air sterilization is used in food processing to treat materials that are easily contaminated by microorganisms, it is recommended to treat the air in the workplace: laminar air is filtered to remove particles larger than 0.1 μ m, and then residual live microorganisms are killed by UV radiation. In the peeling operation of fruits and vegetables, if the air treated with ultraviolet reflux flows through the peeling unit, the microbiological quality of the product will be significantly improved. The microbiological quality of the air in the refrigeration room can also be improved through air sterilization devices. The same technology has also been used for air purification in incubators. UVC treatment for liquid sterilization is one of the effective methods for killing most microorganisms in water and reducing environmental pollution. It has been used for disinfection of drinking water, sewage, and swimming pool water. The combination of UV and ozone has a strong oxidizing effect and can reduce the organic matter content in water to extremely low levels.
According to the detection methods, there are spectrometers that directly observe with the eyes, spectrographs that record with photosensitive plates, and spectrophotometers that detect spectra with photoelectric or thermoelectric elements. A monochromator is a spectroscopic instrument that outputs only monochromatic spectral lines through a slit and is often used in conjunction with other analytical instruments. Laser rangefinder is an instrument that uses a certain parameter of modulated laser to measure the distance to a target. Photocatalytic oxidation technology refers to a technique in which a photocatalyst can accelerate chemical reactions without undergoing any changes under light irradiation. The raw materials of photocatalysts can generate active nanomaterials such as hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals under ultraviolet light irradiation. These active nanomaterials have functions such as antibacterial, deodorizing, oil pollution decomposition, mold prevention, and air purification. Due to the fact that photocatalysts do not consume Earth's resources or use harmful chemicals, but only utilize visible light energy to remove and purify environmental pollutants at low concentrations, and can also be used as antibacterial and antifungal agents, they have become a shining point in environmental purification technology. The raw material of photocatalysts is usually nano *, which has been widely used in dyes, tooth powders, cosmetics, and food additives. It is a safe, non-toxic, inexpensive, and durable substance. The functional principle of photocatalyst is shown in the following figure. When exposed to light, it generates negatively charged electrons and positively charged holes. These electrons and holes have strong reducing and oxidizing abilities, and can react with water or oxygen to produce hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals. These holes and free radicals have strong oxidation ability, forming organic molecules
