Type I and Type II coatings are generally applied by brushing method, and there is no strict requirement for the dryness and wetness of the concrete cylinder wall during brushing. It is suitable for construction at any time after the final setting of the concrete, but the brushing surface should be basically flat. When brushing, the dipping material should not be too much at once, and the soaking material of the brush should not exceed half of the brush hair length. It is required to apply even force. When the weather is dry and the temperature is high, the brush should be cleaned with thinner once every hour to prevent the bristles from sticking. When brushing, it should be done in a criss cross pattern, with one brush for each direction.
