  Small caliber metal rotor flowmeterThe float in the measuring tube moves upwards with the change of flow rate, and at a certain position, the buoyancy acting on the float reaches equilibrium with the gravity of the float. At this time, the circulation gap area between the float and the orifice plate (or cone tube) remains constant. The annular gap area is directly proportional to the rising height of the float, that is, the position where the float rises in the measuring tube represents the size of the flow rate. The change in the position of the float is transmitted by the internal magnet to the external indicator, so that the indicator correctly indicates the current flow rate value. This means that the indicator housing does not come into direct contact with the measuring tube, so even if limit switches or transmitters are installed, the instrument can be used under high temperature and high pressure working conditions.

1. Vertically installed on a vibration free pipeline, the fluid flows through the flowmeter from bottom to top, and the verticality is better than 2 °. When installed horizontally, the horizontal angle is better than 2 °;
2. For the convenience of maintenance and replacement of flow meters, cleaning of measuring pipelines, small-diameter metal rotor flow meters installed on process pipelines should be equipped with bypass pipelines and bypass valves;
3. Instruments with LCD displays should avoid direct sunlight on the display as much as possible to avoid reducing the lifespan of the LCD; Instruments powered by lithium batteries should avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environments as much as possible to avoid reducing the capacity and lifespan of the lithium battery;
4. If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed. If the medium contains solid impurities, a filter should be considered to be installed between the valve and the straight pipe section;
5. In order to avoid deformation of the flow meter caused by the pipeline, the flange of the process pipeline must be coaxial and parallel to the flange of the flow meter. The pipeline support should be used to avoid pipeline vibration and reduce the axial load of the flow meter. The control valve in the measurement system should be installed downstream of the flow meter:
6. When measuring gas, if the gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere at the outlet of the flowmeter, a valve should be installed at the outlet of the instrument, otherwise a pressure drop will occur at the float, causing data distortion.
7. When installing instruments with PTFE lining, do not tighten the flange nuts asymmetrically at will to avoid deformation of the PTEF lining.
