Why do these companies make it to the top quarter?

Identifying a group of specialized, refined, innovative and small giant enterprises is a key task included in the provincial government's "100 Key Tasks".

After layers of screening and evaluation, including voluntary application by enterprises, review by local economic and information departments, formal examination by third-party institutions, and expert evaluation, these 173 enterprises stood out among 693 applicants in the province, with only about 1/4 of them selected.

Looking at the list of 173 companies, from a regional distribution perspective, there are 105 companies in southern Jiangsu, accounting for 61%; 40 companies in Suzhou, accounting for 23%; 28 households in northern Jiangsu, accounting for 16%. From the perspective of industry distribution, there are 98 companies in the mechanical equipment category, accounting for 57%; 31 companies in the electronic information category, accounting for 18%; 27 companies in the chemical industry (including pharmaceuticals), accounting for 16%; 9 light industry companies, accounting for 5%; There are 8 companies in the non-ferrous and building materials categories, accounting for 4%. There are 142 enterprises belonging to the 13 key manufacturing clusters cultivated by the province, accounting for 82%. All of these have given Jiangsu's manufacturing industry the confidence to strive from strength to prosperity.

From 'small and numerous' to' refined and strong '
