Summarize common terms of pressure gauges
Pressure gauge refers to an instrument that uses elastic elements as sensitive components to measure and indicate pressures higher than ambient pressure. It is widely used in almost all industrial processes and scientific research fields. It can be seen everywhere in fields such as thermal pipelines, oil and gas transmission, water and gas supply systems, vehicle maintenance and repair shops, etc. Especially in industrial process control and technical measurement processes, the elastic sensitive components of mechanical pressure gauges have high mechanical strength and convenient production characteristics, making them increasingly widely used. So what are the academic terms for pressure gauges?
  .1. Pressure
The pressure based on vacuum as the zero point reference.
  2. Positive pressure (force)
A pressure greater than atmospheric pressure based on atmospheric pressure.
  3. Negative pressure (force) (vacuum)
Based on atmospheric pressure, the pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure.
  4.Differential pressure (force)
The difference between two pressures.
  5.Gauge pressure (force)
A pressure greater or less than atmospheric pressure based on atmospheric pressure.
  6.pressure gauge
An instrument used to measure positive pressure based on atmospheric pressure.
  7.vacuum gauge
An instrument used to measure negative pressure based on atmospheric pressure.
  8.pressure vacuum gauge
An instrument used to measure positive and negative pressure based on atmospheric pressure.
  9.General pressure gauge
Pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, and pressure vacuum gauges with a degree level equal to or lower than 1.0.
  10.Light tap displacement
The change in the measured quantity displayed on the instrument after lightly tapping the instrument housing, with the input remaining unchanged.
  11.overpressure
Apply a load greater than its measurement upper limit to the instrument.
  12.alternating pressure
Apply a load to the instrument that alternates back and forth with a certain amplitude, frequency, and pattern.
  13.backlash
Within the measurement range, when the input pressure rises or falls, the maximum difference in the displayed value between two corresponding output values of the instrument at the same measurement point after tapping lightly.
  14.temperature effect
The error caused by changes in temperature parameters when other environmental parameters are kept at reference values.
  15.measurement range
The measured range measured according to the prescribed degree.
  16.Scale range
The range defined by the starting and ending values of the scale.
