What are the maintenance methods for split rotor steam flow meters?

The split rotor steam flowmeter is mainly used to measure the flow rate of saturated steam and slightly superheated steam (superheat not exceeding 20) ℃ in industrial production processes. It can directly display the cumulative amount of actual steam quality on site, and can also achieve remote cumulative display. When the steam pressure in the pipeline changes, accurate measurement can be ensured by simply adjusting the pressure device. Its measurement range is wide, high accuracy, long service life, simple structure, reliable operation, and convenient operation have the advantages of being suitable for energy metering.
The working principle of this product is that after steam enters the flowmeter, a part is throttled by the orifice plate, and the other part is sprayed onto the impeller through the nozzle, thereby driving the rotor shaft to rotate. Due to the effect of damping fluid, the rotor shaft rotates at a speed that balances its own torque and the braking torque of the damping blades, and drives the counter pointer to rotate. Since the flow rate through the nozzle is generally proportional to the total flow rate, the total flow rate through the flowmeter can be determined by measuring the flow rate through the nozzle.
The maintenance methods for split rotor steam flow meters include:
1. Before using the flowmeter, it is necessary to fill the damping chamber with clean water Firstly, unscrew the two water injection screws (to avoid incomplete gas discharge and water filling), and then fill the damping chamber with clean water Otherwise, it will cause damage to the instrument or reduce its accuracy and lifespan;
2. When the flow meter stops running, the water in the damping chamber must be drained completely from the drainage outlet to prevent water from freezing and damaging the instrument in winter, and to prevent water from corroding the instrument;
3. When the flowmeter is used at an ambient temperature below 0 ℃, appropriate antifreeze solution (damping solution is a 50% concentration ethylene glycol solution) should be added to the water in the damping chamber;
4. Before installing the flowmeter, the pipeline should be flushed clean to prevent dirt from entering the instrument with steam and causing damage to the instrument When the steam flowmeter is put into operation, the valve should be gradually opened, and the valve should not be suddenly opened too large to avoid damaging the parts;
5. When the splitter rotor steam flowmeter is put into use, the compensation scale should be adjusted according to the steam working pressure, so that the compensation scale value is consistent with the actual working pressure to ensure the accuracy of the flowmeter.
